ElDesmadre (3982) - Mikołów, POLAND - JAN 10, 2013
Bottle traded with Cunningham. The bready and nutty malty base has citrusy and grassy-earthy hop notes shimmering through. I like it how they managed to underline the hop-blend in this one. Medium body, velvety carbo and a medium bitterness. Dry, nutty and tea-like finish. A lovely vienna!

Little head, clear brown. Light nose with a hint of cinnamon and caramel. Medium body and length. Taste is orange, chocko and caramel.

A very tasty and fresh christmas ale I can recommend it at both for dinner and on it’s own

3.9
rarbring (2290) - Linköping, SWEDEN - DEC 5, 2012
Aroma: The smell is built from sweet dried fruits, a dash of toffee and some citric fruits, mostly grapefruit. A grassy freshness is noted.
Appearance: This beer has a copper toned brown color with a beige foam that leaves good lacing in the glass.
Taste: Taste is mostly a malty bread flavor with rather little sweetness, and hoppy aromas in the bitter orange area.
Palate: The carbonation was rather weak, with small tingly bubbles.
Overall: In all a good beer, complementing a smorgasbord rather well.
Note: bottle Reviewed 2010-01-05.

Garlic_of_Doom (663) - SWEDEN - NOV 21, 2012
Bottle from Systembolaget, 2012 edition. Pours dark amber with a small head. Lots of toffee/fudge malt in the aroma, some bitter orange, Roasted malt, toffee, bitter hops, earthy notes, chocolate and bitter orange in the taste. Nice bitter after taste. My thoughts goes to barley wine for some reason: If a hoppy barley wine would be 1/2 of what it regulary is, plus the roasted malt - we have Kalasjulöl!

2.9
Pyrmir (6369) - Blattniksele, SWEDEN - NOV 18, 2012
Draught at ÖÖWF 2012. Aroma: caramel, burnt sugar and yeast. Tastes of toffee, burnt sugar, good bitterness.
