Off-white head on a dark red-brown body. Has a comfortable, filling taste, very well suited for cold Scandinavian Winter days. Hints of caramel and nskomed malt. Perfec ndrink with a warm evening meal.

Flaska från julbordet. Klar rödbrun vätska. Doftar karamellmalt, slisksött. Lätt kryddig, mycket söt. Nja... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bärnstensfärgad och klar. Lite metall i smaken och lite Falcon bayersk stil, inget jag gillar direkt ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Brix (660) - DENMARK - DEC 6, 2007
Tasted 2007-12-06. Bottle, 2007 version. Pours clear brown/amber with big beige head. Sweet malty aroma. Notes of smoke, roasted malt, caramel and maybe a little chocolate. Ditto flavour. Nice bitternes in the end. Very balanced and very tasty for a 5,2%’er.

3.3
Garlic_of_Doom (648) - SWEDEN - NOV 21, 2012
Bottle from Systembolaget, 2012 edition. Pours dark amber with a small head. Lots of toffee/fudge malt in the aroma, some bitter orange, Roasted malt, toffee, bitter hops, earthy notes, chocolate and bitter orange in the taste. Nice bitter after taste. My thoughts goes to barley wine for some reason: If a hoppy barley wine would be 1/2 of what it regulary is, plus the roasted malt - we have Kalasjulöl!

3.1
Moz (613) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - DEC 3, 2007
Bottle. Dark amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt & caramel but also a less pleasant tone of cauliflower. Nice roasted taste, perhaps a wee bit thin.
