Aroma: The smell is built from sweet dried fruits, a dash of toffee and some citric fruits, mostly grapefruit. A grassy freshness is noted.Martin243 (1156) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - MAR 16, 2013
Appearance: This beer has a copper toned brown color with a beige foam that leaves good lacing in the glass.
Taste: Taste is mostly a malty bread flavor with rather little sweetness, and hoppy aromas in the bitter orange area.
Palate: The carbonation was rather weak, with small tingly bubbles.
Overall: In all a good beer, complementing a smorgasbord rather well.

Rich brown clear body, with a beige head that fades to a skim.Salt toffee and date aroma.Toffee prunes and date flavours. Full bodied and fruity, slick mouthfeel, bitter finish.Nice Beer, and a bargain at this price. 23/03/2013: I have had the opportunity to sample a few more bottles, and this is best served chilled. It reminds me of Brewdog Punk IPA, but with some toffee in the flavour. I have grown to love it, an have raised the taste mark and the overall enjoyment mark to reflect this.Still 49p at B&M. Red amber in colour. Sweet toffee aroma. Ohh, I like it already! Has a malty and complex feeling. Intresting burnt taste from the malt. Strong and salty. bark (255) - Linköping, SWEDEN - DEC 6, 2004
Bottle. The colour is dark red with a tint of copper; the fast dissolving foam is pale beige. Eructoblaster (4205) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 21, 2004
The smell is sweet, malty, a little burned and bitter; some sour notes, crisp bread and a just perceptible touch of tar.
The carbonation is soft and gentle (but not at all staled). The mouthfeel is fresh and balanced.
The taste is somewhat sweet and compound. It is very malty with a burned flavour and a touch of crisp rye bread. It is quite light in taste, but there is a nice balance and a robust body. The rather short aftertaste is also malty and balanced with a good body, a soft bitterness and a sourish touch.
I found this being a fine, sweeter Märzen.
Nice amber body topped with a good off-white creamy head. Good malty aroma with sweet and fruity (apples, cherries, grapes) aroma. Complex hoppy/malty taste with herbal and sweet notes. Finish is long and bitter. Very interesting product.
