Clear amber without head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light hoppy. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and bitter finish. 120506 fiulijn (21516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 26, 2002
Beautiful amber colour. Original aroma of malt and other grains. Interesting flavour, of malt, quite aromatic hop, other grains (unmalted?), also similar to some bitter or Scottish brews. Well hopped palate, with pretty good aromas, but with a less pleasant dry bitterness at the very end. saxo (19583) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 15, 2007

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2004 Dark colour. Aroma is from butter and toffee. Has a quite full body and a bitter finish. Flavor starts with some toffe, but then becomes spicy. TBone (18561) - Pori, FINLAND - JAN 30, 2005

Dark copper brown with small off-white head. Excellent aroma of barley/bread with hints of caramel. Medium-bodied, malty with good balance of bread-like barley and soft flowery hops. Also roasted tones found. Balanced märzen (one of the best in this style), only finish is lacking some extra tickles. As in this style often, gives a long dry aftertaste to mouth.

Sweet malty aroma, some ginger, some wet sheep. Lively palate, not fizzy as such. Quite full flavoured. Strongly hoppy and pretty malty too, quite well balanced, nutty in places. Long malty and nutty finish.
UPDATED: AUG 17, 2006 Bottle. Nice head that disappeared to quick. Dark, copper color. Aroma with lots of malt, but also delicious fruity hints. The taste has some roasted element, but mostly malt-flavour, with a little alcohol in it.Quite balanced. Finishes with a light bitter aftertaste. Its a shame I only bought one bottle. Draught @ The Bishops Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Clear dark copper to red color, small off-white head. Smell is weird: malts, some rotten fruits, leaves, dirt. Taste malts, some bitter, leaves and some weird not fresh fruityness. Low body, low to medium carbonation.
