Brown, with an ok head. Aroma from chocolate and toffee, and some fruit. Flavor is sweet toffee with a pleasant bitterness in the finish. petermadsen (390) - Vesterbronxxx, DENMARK - JUN 20, 2008
Solid malty beer with loads of hops and some roasted notes. Fair amounts of flowers, grass and burned caramel. Really too hoppy for a vienna and a little astingent, but really nice! bark (255) - Linköping, SWEDEN - MAR 22, 2005
Bottle. The colour is red-brown; the head is large, airy, firm and beige.

The complex smell got a fine flavour of aroma hops (Fuggles? Challenger?), a touch of malt, some bitterness and a sweet note.
The carbonation is both refreshing and gentle.
The taste is first hoppy with a touch of Madeira, and then it develops into a full-bodied taste with a mild bitterness and a sour-earthy touch. The aftertaste is long and balanced with some earthy notes.
The best beer from Nils Oscars I have reviewed so far: A well-crafted, complex and musty vienna lager
Copper with a white head, aroma is caramel malts with some hop spice.
Flavor was subdued malt very little hop character, very few bubbles ,light mouthfeel semi-dry finish.I think my bottle may be old. Hard to find some tangible describtors. lassewan (44) - Borlänge, SWEDEN - MAR 17, 2002
