Mmm.A thick white head covering a brownish reddish golden beer with an excellent fragrance. The flavor is full of hops and caramell, sweetness well balanced and the aroma deep and rich. The bitterness is excellent. The beer is excellent. YES!! bark (255) - Linköping, SWEDEN - MAR 22, 2005
Bottle. The colour is red-brown; the head is large, airy, firm and beige.omhper (25119) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAR 6, 2002
The complex smell got a fine flavour of aroma hops (Fuggles? Challenger?), a touch of malt, some bitterness and a sweet note.
The carbonation is both refreshing and gentle.
The taste is first hoppy with a touch of Madeira, and then it develops into a full-bodied taste with a mild bitterness and a sour-earthy touch. The aftertaste is long and balanced with some earthy notes.
The best beer from Nils Oscars I have reviewed so far: A well-crafted, complex and musty vienna lager
Amber coloured. Flowery, citric,
and roasty aroma. Clean, firm maltiness. Very bitter finish. A great beer as usual from this brewery. JCW (1278) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 24, 2003
Amber colored, pours with a good size head. The appearance of this beer in a glass is classic. Malty carmel flavor with notes of pepper, and some burnt taste. Slight and interesting finish, a truely great beer. Thanks Per duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 9, 2002
A very flowery/hoppy aroma, extremely tasty beer, nice maltiness in the middle and then very hoppy, bitter finish. Surprised that it was a Vienna though, tasted like and English bitter or something. Very tasty beer.

Dark red colour, wit a nice creamy foam. Aroma of hops and coffee, and a hint of dark chocolate. Reminds me of ther´s Kalas öl. Medium body, and nice bitter finish.

Dark orange colored. Very rich taste with spicy, peppery, malty and bitter nuances. Now I'm starting to realize what real Wiener Typ is. larsniclas (7075) - Billdal, SWEDEN - APR 3, 2004
Amber with a thick head.
A nutty, hoppy toffee-aroma.
Smooth palate with a very fine bitterness and long taste.
A typical qualityproduct from Nils-Oscar. Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - APR 11, 2004
Amber coloured. Very pleasant malty aroma. Very hoppy for a vienna. Interesting and complex brew. Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 1, 2007
Clear light copper lager that wears a large, lasting, delicately laced off-white head. beautiful. Distinct nutty maltiness is also toasty, rather dry and gently fruity (think figs, orange tea, raisins). Some sugary hints manage to peak through in a subtle manner, some kind of burnt caramel perhaps, but the toastiness keeps the lead. Firmly grainy, yet it develops a growing, more than fair powdery bitterness, quite leafy, grainy while the crisp palate feels medium bodied and excellently carbonated. A remarkable lager, very firm and pleasant texture.
