COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Previously Nils Oscar Karl-David 70 Celebration Ale at 9.4%.

Toffe, wood like aroma. The taste is light caramel with some citrus in the background. Some residual sweetness. This reminds me of a west coast barley with but not with the usual hop flavour.

Gyllengul öl med ett lättare vitt skum. Doft av malt, karamell, viss nötighet och alkoholsötma. I smaken tillkommer bröd, muscovadosocker och fruktighet.

@ Havregatan 160213. Bottle (330 ml) from Systembolaget. Malty, fruity and caramely with dried fruits, sweet, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is bitter, sweet and caramely with alcoholic notes.

Bottle from Systembolaget. 9.9 % ABV. Clear amber with a small of-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and dried fruit. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily. 170116

Celebration 2015 @ 9,9 ABV. Clear amber liquid with thin head. Aroma of caramel and malt. Nice barley wine taste at start, but this gets dominated by the alcohol. It has aging potential, but right now is a bit unbalanced.

Bottle, as Nils Oscar Celebration 2015, 9.9% to celebrate the end of 2015 in Jönköping, Sweden :-) Pours hazy amber with small off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and fruit, with notes of caramel and touches of yeast and hops. Sweetish flavour of fruit and caramel malt, with bitter notes of hops and metal. Bitter-sweet aftertaste. Okay but rather potent.

Pours clear amber with nearly flat white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, bread. Taste is sweet, burnt butter and sugar. Body is light to medium, smooth, with soft carbonation. British style barley wine, kind of boring.

Vignale (3833) - Malmö, SWEDEN - APR 22, 2015
Flaska från SB. Väldigt fin stiltypisk doft, klassisk UK BW. Torkad frukt, russin, honung, vanilj, fudge, söt tobak, syltade apelsinskal. Smaken lyfter inte riktigt lika väl, smakerna finns där men lite faddare. Men riktigt gott och en de bäst BW som gjorts i Sverige.

33cl bottle @ ccc. Mahogany color, thin white head. Toffee, marzipan, sweet aroma. flavor has dried fruits, sweetness, toffee. Too sweet for me. Maybe gets better with some aging?

[email protected] Brown amber toffee colour. Nutty toffee malts, some leather, molasses. Full bodied, quite well bittered, doesnt cloy even with a substantial sweetness. Some herbs, malts. Pretty nice. Rich sweet maltyness, but with a good deal of bitters for balance. A really toffee butterscotchy thing,
