COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Previously Nils Oscar Karl-David 70 Celebration Ale at 9.4%.

330ml bottle. Pours a beautiful deep gold, with a white head. Complex, malty aroma, toffee, caramel, hops, orange, nuts, hints of smoke, candied sugar, vanilla, dried fruit, marzipan. Off-dry, medium to full bodied, high bitterness, balanced CO2. Malty, spicy, slightly smoky taste, hops, apricot, spruce, dried fruit, chestnut, raw sugar, iodine, marzipan. Very rich and complex, well balanced. Long, evolving finish. Really nice. (2014-05-29) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 33cl from Jan thanks, a clear amber red beer with good creamy head. Nose is strong on over ripped fruits, caramel and spices. Aroma is very sweet, vinous with oxidized touch such as prune and port notes. Body is a bit creamy with red fruit and quetches notes, long spicy finish with good bitterness, touch of tannins as for rich red vines and caramel, good complexity.

Maltig doft. Honung och knäckebröd. Maltig kropp. God. Ingen anledning att öppna den här igen på minst fem år. Låt den vara där nere i källaren nu! Flyktiga aromer.

Bottle courtesy of RoNo. Pours clear amber with a tiny bubbly golden head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is sweet with biscuits, caramel, cereal, oatmeal cookies, alcohol, dark honey, wood and hints of dark rum. Taste is sweet, tiny bitter, malty and tiny floral with biscuits, sweet dark bread, caramel, dark honey, freshly baked toasty cookies, toasted cereal, wood, old dark rum, raisins, dates, christmas fruit cake and alcohol. Mouthfeel is sticky sweet, boozy, tiny fizzy and near medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with caramel, toasted malts, cookie dough, alcohol, wood, dark rum, honey and christmas fruit cake. Interesting but the surprisingly light body and heavily sweet taste makes it somewhat of a lesser experience.

(Bottle). Aroma and flavor is sweet with flavors of malt, figs and alcohol. Ok beer, but not much of a celebration.
