COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Previously Nils Oscar Karl-David 70 Celebration Ale at 9.4%.

330ml bottle. Pours a beautiful deep gold, with a white head. Complex, malty aroma, toffee, caramel, hops, orange, nuts, hints of smoke, candied sugar, vanilla, dried fruit, marzipan. Off-dry, medium to full bodied, high bitterness, balanced CO2. Malty, spicy, slightly smoky taste, hops, apricot, spruce, dried fruit, chestnut, raw sugar, iodine, marzipan. Very rich and complex, well balanced. Long, evolving finish. Really nice. (2014-05-29) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: Smelling of bread, honey apples, sherry and vanilla.
Appearance: A clear light amber colored beer. A low off-white head with some lacing and some curtains.
Taste: Tasting sweet toffee, brown bread, sherry marmalade and vanilla toffee.
Palate: Medium low carbonation, a soft texture. A big body with a slightly dry finish.
Overall: A nice modest strong ale.
Note: Bottle 330 ml. Reviewed 2013-02-07.

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2016 Bottle (33 cl) from Systembolaget. Clear deep copper, medium beige head. Malty, nutty, fudgy, raisin aroma with some smokey NO character, some floral hops. Meidum bodied, medium carbonation. Semi sweet, medium bitterness.

The new version is so much better, perfect clean caramell maltiness, floral hops, semi sweet medium bitterness, easily a 4+ beer, but the new rating is influence by the older vversion.

Bottle, Thanx to Mr.Rask! Clear red colour, with a nice Yellow head! Aroma was dominated of vanilla, sweet maltynes, fruity and a alcynes. Flavor had a sweet creamy mouthfeeling of lots of sweet maltynes,vanilla/alcy mixed mouth feeling. Nice big body, long fruity/sweet malty finish. Werry nice this one!!

Toffe, wood like aroma. The taste is light caramel with some citrus in the background. Some residual sweetness. This reminds me of a west coast barley with but not with the usual hop flavour.
