Bottle. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma: spices, fruit, some yeast. Taste has fruit, some caramel malt, some spices, with a medium bitter finish. Skinnyviking (9550) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 6, 2010
Draught. Low creamy and quickly disappearing off-white head. Clear amber body. Apple pear peach caramel aroma. Fairly hoppy fruity caramel flavor with low carbonation and a long bitter sweet aftertaste. konstifik (573) - SWEDEN - OCT 2, 2010
Sample at SBWF 2010. A little heavy malts for a saison (which is what they claim it to be) and they are also to heavy to really let the delicate sorachi hops contribute to their fullest. It’s still a decent beer, but it could be so much more. caesar (7100) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - SEP 17, 2010
Tap @ Glenfiddich warehouse No. 68. Clear golden color, short head. Soft hoppy nose, bit rice, bit flowery. Bit bitter taste. Ok. TBone (17442) - Pori, FINLAND - SEP 11, 2010

Amber color, small white head. Juniper, light fruity aroma. Medium-bodied. Caramel, harsh Sorachi hoppyness, some juniper. Soapy. Lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Another bottle I had a sip was diacetylic, this is clean.
Bottled (thanks omhper). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is spices, some earthyness, quite floral and grassy as well. Flavour is spices, grass, some fruits and mild junipery notes. Aftertaste is spicy and fruity. lusikka (7813) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 9, 2010
750 ml bottle @ Olutravintola Pannuhuone. Rated @ 30.7.2010.Rune (12612) - Tromsø, NORWAY - AUG 10, 2010
Hazy amber colour with a thick white head. Spicy aroma of vanilla, grapefruit, yeast and sweet malts. Sweet flavour with loads of grapefruit, malts and hops. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. Nice summer brew.
Draught, 300ml, perfectly served lightly chilled at Glenfiddich Warehouse in Gamla Stan. Near clear, amber coloured body under a slowly fading, white tophead. Smooth aroma of died fruits and herbal hops. Fresh fruity taste with hints of dried fruits breaking through supported by lighter notes of caramel malts. Lingering fruit bitterness to the ending. Medium bodied. Quite enjoyable drinking before mid day (Stockholm, 27.07.2010). gnoff (10226) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - AUG 5, 2010

Hazy copper color, fluffy lasting light brown head. Phenolic, sweet, light metallic taste; fruity, bitter, herbal, cream aftertaste.
Starts off like a Belgian Blonde, finishes almost like an IPA. A bit sweeter with a less dry finish and for me it would’ve been excellent! Still good though.
Phenolic, creamy, malty scent. Also some banana esters in the smell. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Some acidity in the taste also, bringing a bit of astringency to the mouthfeel.
It’s a bit "spretig" (all over the place), not balanced in the way I appreciate it most. But all in all a rather nice beer.
I’m not sure what style I’d call this one, perhaps a "Belgian style IPA"? Tone down the bitterness, loose the acidty, add some more sweetness and caramel, and it would, for my taste, turn from rather nice to very nice.
For those that don’t care for "true" Belgian Blondes, the smaller notes of phenoles with the higher bitterness level might be a true hit?
Not a session beer, for me at least, in drinkability, more of a farily slow drinker, but not down to only a sipper either.
Bottled from Systembolaget.
olden with a medium, biref head.
Yeasty belgo-aroma with notes of gunpowder.
Yeasty and spicy flavour; black pepper and wormwood.
light to medium bitterness.
