Draft. Aroma is dark malt with some yeasty sweetness. Appearance is black with a creamy head. Taste is sweet then got to the dark malt, but not too dry, surprisingly. Palate is pretty neutral. Overall, a decent stout. Would buy again.

Serving type: bottle
Appearance- Pours very thick and syrupy with a tan head that quickly disappeared. The beer itself is a creamy solid black color. Lacing disappeared to little spots on the glass.
Aroma- Roasted malt and oats with a coffee smell and a sweet molasses and chocolate nose.
T/P- Smokey coffee, and a sweet chocolate taste to it. Mouth feel is very nice light carbonation no strong bitter aftertaste very clean.
Overall- I have never been a huge stout drinker, but sine it is winter I am drinking more and more and starting to enjoy them more and more. This is a stout that making me start to enjoy them. I would defentaly have to buy this one again and again.

12 fl oz / 355mL bottle into a Guinness glass. Served cold.
Aroma: Dark roast, Some bittersweet chocolate. Pretty mild aroma.
Appearance: Opaque dark brown body, sparse dark tan head. Nice lacing.
Taste: Pretty mild. Not bad, but mild. Roasty. Straightforward.
Palate: Full bodied. Moderate finish. Kind of creamy, but not as creamy as Murphy’s. Better body than Guinness.
Overall: Pretty good stout. Nothing really jumps out at me, but it’s a pretty good stout. jhgrantjr (478) - Tennessee, USA - JUN 24, 2013
Poured from a bottle, dark, with a good tan creamy head. Aroma is immediate with the oatmeal and roasted coffee beans. Taste is light than some others in this style, but still good flavors: dark chocolate, roasted coffee. A little bitterness at the end. Decent beer.

Bottle; Poured dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma: light oat smell/ toasted/ metal. Flavor: Strong but not in a good way, tasted of metal, copper something to that effect. Slight malt/ roasted flavoring. Not my favorite. lbecker (43) - Brookline, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 29, 2013
Really appreciated this beer. It’s full body provided a great palate. Aromas and flavors are very appropiate for the stile. Rostness is right on the target. superspak (6208) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - MAY 12, 2013
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled in 11/2012. Pours clear nearly opaque dark brown color with a 1 finger dense khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of chocolate, roasted malt, oatmeal, cocoa, caramel, light coffee, floral, mint, and herbal earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with solid balance and complexity of roasted notes with a prominent amount of hops. Taste of dark chocolate, roasted malt, oatmeal, toast, caramel, light coffee, floral, mint, and herbal earthiness. Slight earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of dark chocolate, roasted malt, cocoa, oatmeal, caramel, light coffee, and earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and complexity of roasted malt flavors with light-moderate hop presence; with good robustness and zero cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a creamy and fairly slick mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with almost zero warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very nice oatmeal stout. Well balance with nice flavor robustness and complexity; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
