Dark brown with a strong off-white head. Subtle aromas of chocolate and oatmeal and sweet malt. Taste is consistent with the aroma, only more definite. Sweet aftertaste is pleasant, not overpowering. Medium body, somewhat watery mouthfeel, creamy texture and a sweetness from the oats in the finish. elgiacomo (745) - Ringgold/Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, USA - JAN 13, 2013

Pours black with a two finger light brown head that leaves impressive sheets and drippy rings of lacing and holds a good cap.
Aroma is roasted malts, milk chocolate, a bit of coffee, touch of grassy hops. Good, but not great strength.
Nice flavor of roasted malts, milk chocolate, coffee, some caramel, dark bread, bit of hops, mild to moderate sweetness, mild bitterness, mild alcohol.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, nice creamy Oatmeal Stout feel, moderate carbonation.
Very nice Oatmeal Stout. Everything one would want in the style, smooth, creamy, chocolaty. Good one.
9 Jan 2013, bottle. black. nose is dark roasted malt. thin body and moderately fizzy. roasted malt, dark and sweet chocolate. nice. Caytinator (1005) - Waco, Texas, USA - JAN 6, 2013
12oz bottle. Good appearance, lacing, small tan head, black color per the standard. Aroma is good, nothing that special or different. Really roasty-toasty flavor, dark chocolate especially. Body is thinner than some, but not bad. Tastes stronger than it is, as well. Worth a try. deyholla (11609) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 1, 2013
Bottle. Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a nice roasted malts with a bit of underlying sweet dark grains. Flavor starts with a good amount of roasted malts and is joined by a bit of sweet dark grains and a hint of sweet chocolate.

Big coffee and roast aromas. Deep black with a small tan head. Sweet roast a message change flavors. Full bodied with a sweet finish. mattyb83 (737) - Minnesota, USA - NOV 28, 2012
It’s that time of year when I really enjoy a good stout, so this is something that I’m looking forward to trying. Poured from a bottle into a tulip. Brown in color with a small khaki head. A bit lighter in color than I prefer for my stouts. Very fruity aroma with notes of raisins and dark cherries, and a solid roasted coffee scent, with a little bit of dark chocolate. So far the nose on this is great. Taste is pretty damn thin. Light chocolate, thin coffee, and a strange finish that has a beef jerky quality. Metallic in the finish as well. I’m really put off by how this tastes. jrob21 (3693) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - NOV 16, 2012
Bottle from total wine. Decent straight up stout with some nice chocolatey notes. A bit of a creamy texture. Finishes a touch bittersweet. Solid offering but nothing earth shattering. RABinCO (1511) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - NOV 7, 2012
Bottle from Daknole! Poured into a goblet. Deep, dark brown with a nice medium tan head that fades leaving lines of lacing. Aroma is light chocolate, a bit nutty, with a tinge of coffee.Taste is chocolate, slightly stale coffee, metallic. A bit thin. Not as smooth/full bodied as i would expect an oatmeal stout. drowland (8766) - Georgia, USA - OCT 30, 2012
10/30/12. 12oz bottle from Five Points. Very deep, dark brown pour, almost black, with a 2-finger tan head that cuts in half but sticks and laces plenty. Rich aroma of coffee, chocolate, cream, and some burnt caramel. Nice roasted malt character in the flavor as well with coffee, chocolate, cream, burnt caramel, and a touch of a burnt popcorn aspect. There’s also a sense of dark fruit and marshmallow in there. My only complaint is that it’s a bit light and thin. Otherwise, it’s pretty tasty.
