3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma of roast coffee with underlying floral hops. Appears an opaque dark-brown-black color with a creamy tan head. Flavor is roasty and a tad burnt, with appropriate residual sweetness, but little to no oatmeal presence. Palate is smooth, creamy and very soft. Overall, a very good sweet stout, and a bit more than the sum of its parts.

Good but not my favorite stout. Has a bit of a sour bite to it. Can't seem to get past the sourness.

Draft at brewpub. Near black, light brown head. Caramel. Light roast (a little acidic?). Bit of licorice? Semi sweet. Mild bitterness. Light body. Fairly smooth. A little creamy. Pretty good. MarinEvelyn (854) - Wisconsin, USA - MAY 23, 2015
Roasty, a little milky, very balanced, smooth, and creamy. A little simple, but still good. loubar (157) - Los Gatos, California, USA - APR 9, 2015
Aroma of toffee and yeast. and hoppy hints. Pours an opaque dark brown with a fairly thick tan head that leaves some lacing. Taste is roasted malt with black cofffee and toffee notes. Super carbonated - not full-bodied, which may be the key to its drink-ability. Not bad but not particularly memorable. rdixon77 (2767) - Georgia, USA - MAR 29, 2015
Old rating. Forgettable stout. Chocolate, caramel, chewy, medium bodied. Nothing offensive nothing spectacular.
