Practically zilch in head. Dark amber color. Cloudy as all get go. Nice english-style hops in flavor, which lingers in the aftertaste. Slight malty nose. After a few minutes of warming up the malt flavor is more pronounced, hops less so.I kind of laugh at the "...true premium ale and is priced accordingly." As to the sweetness they refer to? Where? Even thought they call this an "English style ale," this is actually a very American ale. Lots of hops, and too sweet. If it were English, I would expect a smoother hop character, and drier flavor. Dark brown color with a tan head. Aroma of fruit and cedar. Overall, this is a bit disappointing, but still drinkable.

On tap at Nimbus in south Tucson. It’s a very dark brown color with medium carbonation. The smell is caramel malts, roasted malts, and mild hops. The tastes is a little sweet, some caramel flavor, brown sugar, and a little bitterness from the hops. It’s like a light version of a barley wine. Overall pretty good. Bottle. Pours a fairly dark brown with a short lived tan head. Scents of dried fruit, malt, and weak coffee. Roasted flavors prevalent throughout, coffee, prunes, and sweetness with a slight bitterness in the finish. Not a big fan of coffee scented or darker roasted brews.
