Draft at sb. Pours a hazy medium gold with a dense and creamy white head. Nice grassy piney nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Sweet caramel mid palate with bright piney hop on the mid palate. Finishes crisp and refreshing. BK7 (773) - Turner, Oregon, USA - FEB 25, 2013
On tap at Bier One. Citrus, pine and caramel. Crisp. Surprisingly full bodied for a single hop pale ale. Light bitter finish. Tasty. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - FEB 24, 2013
On tap. Clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Sweet strong grapefruit and light pine aroma with a crisp clean and distinct grapefruit flavor that plays well with the somewhat sugary caramel backbone and finishing pleasantly sweet with a low bitterness profile. Soft medium bodied palate. Nice. bpreo (2902) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - JAN 6, 2013
It tasted about the same as any other Pale Ale Ninkasi makes, except this one uses only one hop (El Dorado in this case) instead of a half dozen. Also contains Pilsner, Flaked Barley, Northwest Crystal C15, and Carahell. Starting Gravity of 1052, whatever that means.
