ChrisOs Christmas Tasting. Very hazy gold beer with a very small white head. Softish palate with mild carbonation. Marmaladish orange with sweet caramel malt underneath. Finishes soft. Like the way this beer delivers it’s hops in a soft way - makes a change from the usual slap accross the chops!

Papsoe (25060) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 10, 2009
Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Tart, citrusy nose. Medium body, distinctly tart and citrusy. No real IPA bitterness though. 210809

Bottle from La Cave à Bulles, Paris
Cloudy golden color, with a huge head (overcarbonation). The aroma is lightly smokey, earthy, and with pinenuts. Good malt flavor, with a dry side, with a reasonable body structure and good bitterness level too. Atypical beer, but well made.

Light bronze, med head, big old school grapefruit and pine nose. Similar palate, nice, basic IPA.

Bottle, 75cl, courtesy of Ungstrup.A hazy, orange-golden beer with a small, off-white head. Citrusy nose, mostly orange, with pale malts. Orange juice, pale malts, some sweetness and a little acidity in the flavor. Dry mouthfeel. There’s some bitterness in the finish, but not enough, dry and citrusy. It’s a very acidic one considering it’s an IPA, but quite drinkable. 090821

Dedollewaitor (16239) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 29, 2009
Botttle @ Danish Summer Gathering, 2009. Pours muddy golden with a small creamy white head and lacings. Dusty, fruity and hoppy. Tart and dusty. Medium and smooth palate.
