Bought this in August in Portland and brought it back to Vancouver Island. Forgot about in the basement until this weekend. What a nice surprise when I cracked open this little beauty. A mouthful of elegant hops and bitter citrus that permeates the taste buds. Delicious!

On tap, poured a lightly hazed golden hue w/ small white head. Moderate malty aromas. Initial flavor is light sweet w/ a moderate bitter finish. Tastes are straw, pine, and grapefruit. Medium bodied. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft at Brass Tap, National Harbor. Poured clear, dark golden with thin white head. Dominated by sweet, grainy malt and subdued floral, light citrusy hops. Okay but wouldn't drink again.

Clear golden and copper coloured body with a very thin pure white head, only two centimetres tall. Aroma of citrus, grasses, light hops, a bit of earth and some moderate malt aromas with earth and some sticky sugars noticeable as well. Medium-bodied; Assertive earthy and toffee flavours at first with a big dose of grass, hay and citrus right behind with some blood orange notes, a touch of unfinished sugars and ending with an assertive and almost astringent bitterness that is caused by the hops, but almost showing citrus instead. Aftertaste is on the richer side, but with a good balance throughout, some alcohol hits out, but more hops and bitterness than sweetness for sure, and almost a bit too much earthiness for the style, but a good balance throughout. Overall, a nice and refreshing beer, but still showing a lot of flavours, some complexity at the end and a still somehow, easy-to-drink vibe. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 31-May-2017 for US$2,86 sampled at home in Washington on 25-August-2017.

Aroma of orange, tangerine, toffee, caramel apple, and flowers. Taste is fresh, just ripe grapefruit or grapefruit juice, orange, caramel and a shitload of bitterness. Damn good, damn gooood!

Light citrua and pepper. Cloudy amber pour like quality of the necklace is bad. Light bitter finish with some tang and almost a minty feel. Bottle.

I thought it was good. Had a really cloudy look, very hoppy but a nice play on a summer IPA. I wouldn't say no to another one ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle pours an anemic hazy orange with minimal head and blotchy surface lacing. Aroma is of orange soda and mango at first. Taste is a thin pine resin and pith flavor on top with a watery sweetness underneath. After the bitterness sets in the aromas turns towards wet barnyard straw. Needs more body and I almost wonder if these bottles got mistreated somewhere along the way.

12oz bottle pours mostly clear gold with a thin unsustained head. Tropical fruit hop aroma comes across as mandarin orange, mango, honeysuckle, with some minor notes of pine and resin and slow to emerge notes of concrete mix. Medium-light bodied, sweet and flabby with low carbonation and low acidity. Smells nice to begin with but some off-notes emerge, but really the mouth feel is a huge letdown, super flabby, syrupy, thin.
