Biscuity, lager-like aroma, slightly hazy medium yellow with a thin white head. Very light body and flavor with some toast and sweet corn notes and a nice creaminess. Earthy, grassy hops are light but well balanced with the malt. Finishes clean with a light lingering bitterness and a creamy texture. Well made, tasty light ale. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - DEC 1, 2012
Bottle:   Hazy straw, thin white head, frothy, fairly nice lacing.   Soft sweet grassy nose, a touch floral, but also a bit mealy.   Sweet mealy hay/grass on the tongue.   Not as floral as the nose suggested, but its at least clean.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Lingering straw/hay.   Does feel a little creamy.   I gotta say, very smooth and very clean.   Other than feeling a little mealy, which I expected, this one is very good! robforbes (2256) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - NOV 3, 2012

A - Pours an almost clear golden-orange with a finger of frothy white head atop. THe head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some lacing.
S - Aroma is a mix of sweet grainy and crackery malts with some floral hops and a bit of tart green fruit.
T - Starts out with a mix of sweet grainy malts with some lightly tart green apple and a bit of lemon zest. Through the middle some floral hops come through with a touch of bitterness and some crackery and biscuit malts. The finish is a mix of sweet grains and biscuity malts with some light floral hops and fruity esters.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a sweet and lightly bready finish.
D - Very drinkable. Nice overall balance with a good malt profile. luttonm (6551) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 7, 2012

Small, fizzy head. Orange golden apple juice color. Smell is bread, champagne, soda, citrus. Taste is light, bread, soda, smooth sweetness, and hints of grassy aftertaste. Nice mouthfeel, tingly up front and clean finish. Not much hop character.

Tap at Dan & Louis Oyster Bar in Portland, OR. Pours gold with a cramy white head. Aroma seems light citrus. Near med body. It’s bready and seems to have a light citrus bitterness. Clean, fairly light and refreshing. Does a bit of ring lacing. bpreo (2881) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - JUL 23, 2012
Excellent. A very good job done on this beer. It is rich and smooth like butter. Ninkasi is finally making styles other than Pale Ale’s, and they are doing a very good job of it. mintzmeet (457) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 15, 2012
UPDATED: JUN 25, 2014 Bubbles collect on side of glass with medium big bubbled head. Beautiful crisp opaque color. Light grassy odor. Great creamy flavor. Light malt lil hops. Slightly spiced finish. Tastes like soda in a good way. Danyel (1606) - Colorado, USA - FEB 23, 2012
