Hazy blond color with compact head. I used to remember useless Cream Ales; this one is dry, not smooth, with grainy and grassy and hay accented malt; medium to strong bitterness.
Simple but pleasant, and balanced.
Pours a nice light color with creamy-white head. Nice malty aroma with floral hops on the nose. Taste is sweet with a slightly bitter finish. Great medium mouthfeel, which is to style for a cream ale, but not overboard & chewy. This makes a great summer ale. Overall, one of my favorite brews from Ninkasi. Bottle. This is a nice little cream ale with lots of subtle flavors coming up as it got warmer. IrishBoy (4200) - Bakersfield, California, USA - AUG 22, 2013
Draft at Cannery Row Brewing. Nose is grassy, floral, sweet, very light vanilla, and a bready note. Murky yellow orange with a medium off white head. Flavor is lightly bitter, lightly sweet, with a peppery note and a creamy moderately creamy body. Nikiel (879) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 19, 2013

Pours a clear golden wheat color with a white head. Aroma is grainy, as is the taste. Well balanced, with a hoppy, slightly sweet finish 19Ei8hty (1166) - Washington, USA - AUG 6, 2013
Stunningly gorgeous pour from the bottle. Bright, straw color that pops with light effervescence and a towering bubbly white head made for holding up to the sun on a summer afternoon. Velvety malt body with rich grain of moderate sweetness. Biscuit malt character with some dry cracker and light grassy crispness. Forceful presence of fruit that dominates on the back end becoming more assertive as it warms. Apricot, peach and pineapple are present throughout. It’s mealy but in a good way as it helps to highlight its notable qualities. nealblind (1867) - Seattle, Alabama, USA - JUN 30, 2013
Clear amber pour some head that stays. Smells of apricots wheat, yeast. Tastes of mild fruits; apricot, peach and grassy hops. Moderate hop bitterness. Yeast flavors are also quite prominent. Good creamy mouthfeel with a dry finish. This is what a good cream ale should be... slightly into the pale ale style. Beerandhockey8 (403) - Three Forks, Montana, USA - JUN 20, 2013
12oz bottle to shaker. Pours a hazy yellow, straw color with nice white head. Smell is hoppy, some citrus and grassy notes. Bitter taste, medium body. Finishes lively, with a sweet touch. Nice beer here. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUN 18, 2013
Bottle. Pours a very clear light amber color with a fairly thick off-white head on it. Nose has some corn, grass, and hay elements to it. Taste has a bit of a bite to it, actually, and is very reminiscent of a lager. Decently crisp and very smooth, it’s a nice summer seasonal.
