From a bomber, a gift from my nephew. I’ll call it dark brown, beige head fades to a ring, no lacing to speak of. Aroma is ash, coffee, roasted malt. Flavor is bitter chocolate and coffee with a mildly bitter finish. I didn’t get a vanilla flavor or scent. (They must have forgot to put it in my bottle.) I wouldn’t call it a sweet stout, I’d call it a damn good stout! I need to go back to Oregon! DeliriumT (540) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - FEB 14, 2016
Pours black with minimal tan head. Aroma of rich coffee, bitter dark chocolate, smoke and toast. Flavour more bitter than the aroma with a rich, inviting mouthfeel

Charred oak nose. Black, thin tan head. Charred oak, baker’s chocolate, very very slightly meaty. Medium to full body, easy carbonation. hawthorne00 (3986) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - DEC 29, 2015
Bottle. Very dark brown with a light tan head that’s soon a coat. Aroma is roasty with chocolate, some singed carmael, vanilla, chicory. Smooth body, lowish carbonation. Sweet with some ashy and acid roasted touches. Firm roasted flavours, some licorice, chocolate. Not much depth for 7% but quite harmonious. Drake (13949) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 16, 2015

Totally dark appearance with a large tan head and good lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and coffee. Earthy, creamy flavors of dark chocolate, oatmeal bread and roasted malts. Faint floral hop presence in the aftertaste. Full bodied, modestly carbonated mouthfeel leading to a lingering finish. Bricks (1131) - Delaware, USA - NOV 21, 2015

Bottle from 802. Pours very dark brown with a beige mostly lasting small head that leaves scant lacing. Aroma is roasty malt and a slight moldiness. Medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter tastes, average to lively carbo, lots of dark roasted malt, cream and caramel flavor leading to a sticky sweet, lightly bitter finish.
