The best Stout I’ve had since coming to the US from Ireland. Rich aroma and great taste. This Oatmeal Stout is a must try if you haven’t already! winto (35) - Washington, USA - SEP 12, 2014
nose: like a concentrated black butte porter. perfect.
palate: this is everything i want in a stout. strong cocoa but not too sweet, not roasted to starbux levels where it’s just charcoaly and bitter, super aromatic, not over-hopped, great creamy carbonation to offset the sweetness and long pleasant cacao finish. beautiful on so many levels. i was hesitant to give it a perfect score but i’ve had too many stouts that were just gross. mrhoppy (1288) - Santa Clara, California, USA - FEB 23, 2010
Damn tasty sweet stout. Very good and all levels. One of the best stouts I have had. Delicious toastyness. This could be a regular for me. bradleyberry (3) - Oregon, USA - JAN 1, 2012 does not count
What can you say about this beer. Bottle or kegged it is a good mild yet aromatic beer. The flavor dances across your taste palate. The beer is not heavy but not light it is just right. It has a very profound appearance that works with the taste and aroma. Not a thing wrong with this beer. Excellent all year long and with whatever you are eating. jnance34 (4) - Raleigh, USA - AUG 20, 2013 does not count
Smells like chocolate and caramel, tastes like chocolate and coffee. Nice balance of sweetness and bitterness. Great oatmeal stout.

Awesome offering by Ninkasi. Very balanced stout. I recommend it to someone looking for a stout that isn’t bitter. robbyg4307 (3) - Washington, USA - AUG 4, 2015 does not count
Excellent oatmeal stout. Perhaps my new favorite stout. Robust flavor, smooth creamy mouth feel with a hint of chocolate.

This beer pours black with a creamy tan head. Has a roasted, chocolate aroma. Finishes amazingly smooth for how dark this beer is. One of my favorite stouts! blackbear (9) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 10, 2010 does not count
Ninkasi Oatis Oatmeal Stout has a black coffee colour deep in amber color at shallow points. Definitely oatmeal notes with toasty completeness. Effervescent like a porter but smooth and rich. Fills the mouth with a toasty liqueur flavor. Good stuff. Cybercat (5835) - Georgia, USA - JUN 30, 2011
Pours an opaque dark-chocolate brown with just a hint of a light tan head. Smoky aroma has quality coffee, semi-sweet chocolate and molasses tones plus hints of licorice and toffee. Mouth-filling flavor has a firm smoky overtone and molasses, quality coffee, chocolate, licorice and toffee flavors - delicious! Smooth yet lively texture leaves a smoky and fizzy finish. Recommended!
