Prismatic Lager Series. Highly drinkable and with a slight malty sweetness, Dortmund-style lagers were first brewed in 19th century Dortmund, Germany and were favored by the city’s industrial workers. Ours is golden in color with a clean balance, perfect for enjoying after a hard day’s work or anytime. Cheers!

HQT Octoberfest. Growler. This was a pretty good German style lager. Clear, crisp... Easy drinking with not over powering German beer aroma and aftertaste. Palate was really good... perfect carbonation and texture... what you would expect from a seasonal lager.

On draught at Barley’s BrewHub - Kennewick, WA. Straw colored with slight white fine-bubble head. Slight smoky aroma note. Medium body. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Great malti flavor. Hint if hops crispness. Very clean. Impressive.

Draft at Pony. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy and faintly toasty, with mild sweetness and faint earthy notes. Decent.

Tap, gold pour, white head, nose and taste is pear, lots of pear, smooth, fruity

fiulijn (21506) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 16, 2014
Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Amber color, bright light, hazy. Lean bready malt aroma and flavor, with a hint of cereals and biscuits, very light herbaceous touch, and correct bitterness.
Clean, nice Oktoberfest (more than a Helles), well balanced.

Gerbeer (4148) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 15, 2014
On tap. Pours a clear copper with light head. Aromas of toasted malts and dough. Flavors of toasted malts, ripe pears, and sweetened banana. Slightly sweet. Very nice and very quaffable.

After getting over that this is indeed NOT an Oktoberfest, and I stop wondering why in the hell they would name a non-marzen’s actually a pretty nice brew. Yellow pour with good lacing, aroma clean of cereal, grain, floral hops. Fizzy crisp feel. Taste is slightly sweet and has more grainy malt than hops, but is well balanced. Good example of a session beer that is not boring."

Bottle:   Soft hazy straw, moderate to large frothy white head, nice lacing.   Soft straw/hay on the nose, very clean.   Smooth and grassy on the tongue, clean, very soft pale bready notes.   These guys churn out some good light lager type beers.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Finishes a touch dry, straw/hay linger.   Very clean, smooth, a bit heavier than most, with a nice amount of sweetness.   Very nice!

Salmoniform (1281) - Sweet Home, Oregon, USA - DEC 31, 2013
Poured from tap to glass. Crystal clear straw hue with fizzy white head. Aroma is floral, honey, lager esters, slight metallic. Mouthfeel is nice and refreshing with a light body and great carbonation. Taste is clean with slightly sweet initial with a slight hop bitterness and CO2 sharpness. Overall, this is a really nice Oktoberfest.

12 oz bottle- Pours mostly clear golden with little particles floating around and a one finger head that doesn’t seem to want to stick around. Aroma is crisp and clean, but not a whole lot there, a little floral. The taste is grainy, moderately bitter and dry hops, clean and crisp. Body is medium low. Decent.

robforbes (2277) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - NOV 19, 2013
pours a clear yellow with a small white head and good lacing. smell is faint, malt, some hops, and a touch of grain. taste is of malt, some grain, and some hops. ends dry.
