Really nice ale from the folks down in Oregon. It is a bit rich and heavy for me as a hot weather session beer, but a big bottle goes down very nicely when the evening cools off a bit. Nice amber/red pour. Some hop aroma and flavor, but not epic. Some grain and malt notes and a nice smooth finish.

I love hoppy grainy beers. The last couple I have tried of theirs really have that delicious grainy flavor. Caramel and sweetness with nice bitter finish. Not the most incredible beer but real tasty!

Bomber from SuzyGreenberg - thanks Ben. Pours a luminescent peachy amber with a 2 finger foamy off-white head. ? Grassy/herby aroma over mild caramel. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Caramel is light, and the flavor is like Imperial Pilsner. Good stuff. It’s definitely bitter. Good stuff. Repeat indefinitely.

Appearance: Pours an amber gold with a creamy 1/2 inch head.

Aroma: Pungently dry hopped with citrusy hops, then I find spicy sweet malt.

Taste: Bitter, spicy hops on a creamy bed of caramel malts. Finishes spicy.

Mouthfeel: Thin, tingly.

Overall: A really good, flavorful APA. I wouldn’t expect something this flavorful in the name of Summer ale, but it is.

Bottle. Semi hazy orangish colored pour with little to no head. Sour, slighty sweet aroma. Hoppy, bitter finish. Not too bad, but I’m not sure I’d get this again.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Caramel and malt aroma with light grapefruit. Malt and light grapefruit flavor with light pine. Medium bodied. Decent bitterness. Grapefruit and pine lingers with light caramel.

Bottle; poured a dark amber-slightly orange color with a frothy khaki head. Aroma of orange, caramel, citrus, flowers and yeast. Flavor was mellow, yet crisp. Alot of caramel and bread, with some earthy and fruity hops. Hops are subdued. Ok overall

3.5
BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - JUL 2, 2010
Tap @ The Sushi Bar (McCall, ID): Pours a light amber color with a nice head. The nose is lightly citrusy with a nice fresh hop note and some creamy caramel malts. The flavor is balanced, not overly bitter but with a nice malty body and more crisp hop notes in the tail. Almost an english style IPA with PNW hops. Good refreshing summer ale that isn’t TOO light.

doubleo (1432) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 1, 2010
Pours copper/amber with a medium sized white head that leaves good lace. Smells pretty good. Fruit and spice and hops and malt. Nicely balanced, bitter and sweet. Tastes the same. Fruity with some iced tea. Building, mild bitterness. Decent. Med body, ok carbonation.
