Rated based on notes taken 17 Jun 12 -- This beer, eh. Not my favorite. Ok. WABeerFiend (413) - - JAN 16, 2015
Poured from a bomber into a tumbler on 03.18.14.
A: See through orange. No head.
S: Sour. It does not smell very good.
T: Tangerine dominates. Tart citrus, malt too.
O: The tangerine was nice, but the beer seemed unbalanced. It also had a different flavor than what it smelled like. There are much better APAs than this one. slowrunner77 (12051) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 24, 2014
"Clean and crisp are right on for this one. A crisp hop bite follows the well balanced and floral aroma and slightly sweet flavor. Not bad overall. Clean and bright if not too deep."

Finally found a fresh bottle of this. Way to go to De Hart’s for beating out the rest of Juneau.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a fairly decent hazy orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing sliding into the beer.
The smell had a nice blend of sweet citrus and spicy hops to lead a nice sweet grassiness (that freshly cut aroma of sorts). Still, the sweet malts just slide right on in there at the end to balance the nose. I really like how everything just seems to fit on this one.
The taste was mainly sweet but still had a decent bitterness running about and underneath. The grassiness does come back but seems to be appropriate as once again it’s a fresh sweet perhaps refreshing/maybe a watery sense of sorts.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. It ends up leaving a somewhat sticky finish and has a moderate carbonation about it trying to pummel but ends up just leaving a somewhat slick refreshing/watery sense of sorts.
Overall, uh....fresh is good. The first bottle I ever had of this was this past winter and once I saw that this is a summer seasonal I realized I needed to have this again. So glad to have had one fresh, so worth it. Oakes (17684) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 17, 2014
Bronze, herbal citrusy nose. Rich pithy bitterness, gets chewy fast even with all that bitterness.

Reviewed from notes; had this fresh last summer in Idaho. Pours a nice amber color with off-white head. Citrus, floral notes, and some caramel malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes very clean for a pale ale. rodenbach99 (4572) - Longueuil, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 15, 2014
Bière orange passablement trouble avec un nez de houblon aux agrumes. La bouche qui ne réinvente pas la roue avec des notes d’agrumes et de malt légèrement sucré. SlovakSniper (5561) - Candiac, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 9, 2014

Bottle. First, I’ve got to say that this product comes in a fantastic package and should win awards for its simplicity. Second, I admit that this was probably brewed some time ago as it’s no longer summer so I’ll be lenient. Pours amber, white head. Nose is caramel and grapefruit. Flavour is same with some dry hopped grassiness... finish is relatively dry. Good!
