Draft at sb. Lightly hazy dark amber with bright caramel edges. Dense and creamy light tan head. Mild sweet caramel nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Tangy sweet caramel and plum mid palate. Mild sweet malty fruity finish. robforbes (2261) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - FEB 2, 2013
pours a clear light copper with a small white-yellowish head, and good lacing.
smell is of grain, floral, malt, some hops, and some citrus.
taste is creamy, lots of citrus notes, hops, malt, and caramel. ends smooth and bitter. Shink (177) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 28, 2013
Out of the bottle. Pours a dark caramel color with a fine white head. Smell is a little off, but not so much that it detracts from the beer. The taste is sweet with a slight bitter finish. This is a solid beer. pdx77 (1483) - Oregon, USA - JAN 24, 2013
From 12 ounce bottle. Copper in color with a pleasing malt character. Light hoppiness and hint of caramel flavor. bpreo (2903) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - JAN 24, 2013
2013 version of Re NEW Ale, this one is an ESB. Has a nice malty flavor, light on the hops, and a bit yeasty too. Overall, very good.

Bottle... Poured copper, amber/orange with a lacy, eggy, off-white head. This was nice. Easy quaffable ESB. some citrus and earthy hops spice, but dominant biscuity malt tones. Bready, easy mouthfeel. Some residual sweetness too. BEENJAMIN (290) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 22, 2013
ReNEWale 2013 ESB pours a beautiful copper hue, crystal clear with a lasting off white head. Subtle hops and sweet malts for aroma. Sweet and rich in flavor, finishes incredibly smooth. Almost true to the style just a little too rich for me overall. A great session beer none the less. poisoneddwarf (2621) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - JAN 18, 2013
Bomber bought at Super 1 in CDA, ID. Pours slightly hazy copper with a medium collapsing beige head; leaves a ring of ugly big-bubbly foam. Aroma consists of dough, toasted bread, dark fruits, caramel. Taste is lightly sweet before a nice hoppy bitterness sets in and lingers there long after the swallow. It’s earthy, grassy, caramelly. Carbonation is medium to high, body is medium. Good. braznadian (59) - Washington, USA - JAN 11, 2013
Clear dark bronze in color. Big sudsy tan white head, persist for minute or so. Aromas are sweet and malty, comparable to bread. Flavor has a slight roasted quality. Big hop punch at the end. Very clean hop taste, sounds strange but it made my mouth feel clean for some reason. Some subtle sweetness is there also. Very good beer, enjoyed alot. The nose is all yeast. Plenty of a fruit and a little sulphur. Slick, eggy, hints of copper and caramel. One of the worst I’ve had from them.
