Clear red copper, tan foam fades. Caramel malt aroma. Roasted caramel malt taste, grassy hops, citrus yeastiness. Softly carbed, light-medium bodied, moderately hopped. Long dirty bitter hop finish. Next. NFL (Not For Lagerboys) pdx77 (1483) - Oregon, USA - JAN 24, 2013
From 12 ounce bottle. Copper in color with a pleasing malt character. Light hoppiness and hint of caramel flavor. Tonkun (1296) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 6, 2014
Tap. Amber pour with a finger of head. Fruit, biscuit, caramel. Slight bitterness. Not bad mrhoppy (1288) - Santa Clara, California, USA - FEB 12, 2013
Decent but nothing to make you say I want to try this again except the price $3.99. A good bitter but not very special. It tastes like their Radient ale tweaked to be a Bitter. XaenDovet (1282) - British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 13, 2013
On tap at Darby's. abundant caramel and muddy nose, on a copper base. Taste roasty caramel malt, with a long semi-dry finish. Crispy in my mouth.

Extremely faint aroma of brown sugar. Brownish copper color. Metallic hops upfront with a cinnamon/brown sugar backbone. Overall, not a whole lot to say about this. It’s very basic and doesn’t bring much flavor to the table. cstuartj (1020) - Washington, USA - MAR 8, 2013
Dull gold in color. Thin pale head. Really nice malty, bready nose. A bit over malty attack. Good finish. BEENJAMIN (290) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 22, 2013
ReNEWale 2013 ESB pours a beautiful copper hue, crystal clear with a lasting off white head. Subtle hops and sweet malts for aroma. Sweet and rich in flavor, finishes incredibly smooth. Almost true to the style just a little too rich for me overall. A great session beer none the less. Shink (177) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 28, 2013
Out of the bottle. Pours a dark caramel color with a fine white head. Smell is a little off, but not so much that it detracts from the beer. The taste is sweet with a slight bitter finish. This is a solid beer. Whids (60) - - MAY 8, 2013
Dark amber in colour with a thin beige head. Sweet caramel aroma. Mild hops with a nice bitter finish. Very thin in body that does detract from the overall quality of this beer.
