12 oz bottle.dwm1034 (784) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 2, 2015
Clear light amber, thin beige head, spotty lace.
Caramel malt aroma, with some light fruity hops.
Flavor is much more hop forward than the aroma. Pine and citrus up front, sweet malts in the middle, long bitter finish.
Bottle from Safeway in Milwaukie OR. Pours an almost clear orange / amber. Mild hoppy nose with malts smoothing the initial and palate tasting....pleasant....not sure about the session part...6% is a little heavy for a full evening...but guess everyone wants on the session wagon. mjg74 (3116) - La Mesa, California, USA - FEB 6, 2015
Bottle from Fred Meyer. Slightly hazy brownish/gold in color. Slightly skunky hop nose. Somewhat pungent. Food hoppiness throughout. Fish is pretty bitter. Underlying breadiness and a fairly creamy mouthfeel. chinchill (5072) - South Carolina, USA - DEC 10, 2014
22 oz bottle served in a wine glass in Oregon (from summer 2014 notes).
Excellent clarity and carbonation in an amber body. Crisp, near medium body.
Flavor: This has the hop load and bitterness of an IPA. Overly bitter and piney aftertaste with lingering grapefruit peel.
O: recommended for hop heads who favor piney hops and plenty of grapefruity bitterness. slowrunner77 (12144) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 30, 2014
"the brewer’s description above is pretty dead on. a pleasant enough pale ale...well balanced and quaffable...nothing special but the toasted malt is done well. smells a tad hoppier than it ended up being, though."
Westchesterco (2058) - mclean, Virginia, USA - AUG 21, 2014
Poured from a bottle it is a cloudy golden color with a slight head. The aroma is citrus and it has a bitter flavor of citrus mainly oranges that lingers on the palate. Iphonephan (7014) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - AUG 10, 2014

6% session beer, lol. Sure, if you’re a sumo. Golden-bronze colour. Toasty malt with a touch of apple. Berryish character, splash of bitterness and then there’s a dry, hoppy finish. Ok brew. Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - JUN 3, 2014
Pours a light copper color with a full floral bouquet of aroma. Taste is light, good amount of spruce, toasted malt, with a hop finish. Mild bitterness at the end of every swallow. Good complexity and very easy drinking, a nice seasonal beer that would be an everyday drinker during the summer. beertholomeus (1813) - California, USA - JUN 2, 2014
Pours a pale gold color with a white head. Hop, citrus, grass, floral, honey and malt aroma. Hop, citrus, floral, honey, grass, biscuit and malt flavors. Light body and lively carbonation. Floral citrus hop finish.
