"the brewer’s description above is pretty dead on. a pleasant enough pale ale...well balanced and quaffable...nothing special but the toasted malt is done well. smells a tad hoppier than it ended up being, though." DuffMan (10434) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 4, 2010
Bottle, shared with parksy. Pours a slightly hazy deep orange amber with a creamy vanilla head. Toasty and fruity aroma. Very toasty toffee flavours, citrus and conifer hops with a moderately bitter finish. Compared to Pyramid Fling, this had more tout. Very nice. phaleslu (10267) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 22, 2011
22 oz. bottle from curly- thanks, Jason! Pours a somewhat cloudy bright golden orange color with an inch-thick, rocky off-white head that leaves some lace in the Duvel tulip. Aroma of dry grains, toasted malts, fresh cut grass, toasted sugars, straw, and herbs. Flavor of grassy and floral hops, pale and sweet malts, faint soap, and limestone. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, mineral mouthfeel. A little mouth-coating bitterness as well. Decent APA. marcus (10227) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 21, 2010
Pours hazy amber with a decent beige head and a light toffee aroma. There is a slightly thin pale malt flavor with a piny hop flavor that makes this brew interestingly bitter. Otherwise, a rather average pale ale. onceblind (9676) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 3, 2014
Clear golden under a generous foamy off-white head. Big nose of springtime flowers and greasy leafy lupulin hops and a touch of lemon zest. Big taste of toasted biscuit and earthy leafy hops, a bit of bitter resin, and a finish of cracker. Not shabby, just a bit more earthy than I like.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream colored head. light grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and light grain flavor. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and light pine lingers with light grain. douglas88 (9188) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 20, 2013
Bomber thanks to Mike. Pours a clear golden hue with a medium white head. A fruity nose with some pepper. Pretty smooth, clean flavors, pepper, floral hops, light biscuit. Honey. Nice. Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - AUG 4, 2015
12oz bottle pours with a nearly clear pure gold body that supports a near white head. The aroma offers up a blend of cracker like malts, floral hops and a dash of lime hard candy. The taste begins pretty nice as the malts and sort of cracker like sensation are met by an equal level of hop bitterness that seems floral and a bit spicy and grassy and lime like. The bitter citrus hop character builds to a moderate level to midway and then maintains that into the finish. Pretty nice pale.
