Flagship Series. Total Domination IPA has a citrusy, floral hop aroma, and big hop flavor balanced with a richness imparted by Carahell and Munich malts. This beer is a big flavorful Northwest IPA that maintains its drinkability, and as such, has garnered great admiration from the novice craft drinker and the seasoned hop-head alike.

Pours a sparkling amber-orange color, with a thick, billowy cream-colored head. The aroma is bursting with bold, citrusy combination of orange and grapefruit. The flavor is likewise jammed with grapefruit, with a juicy, lingering, pithy bitterness that is only partially balanced by a light caramel sweetness and some earthy undertones. The texture is light and smooth, yet the sticky, resinous hops dont readily fade away. Overall, although the flavor isnt a rot-your-molars kind of bitterness, it is certainly substantially hopped, resulting in a wonderfully bright and flavorful IPA.

On tap in a plastic cup at Safeco field. Awesome. Amber with giant off-white head. Citrus with lots of pine. Resin, juicy mandarin orange, cream. Lasting hop bitterness. Medium body, good balance. Very well done.

(22oz bottle from BevMo! Scottsdale). Pours a hazy apricot color with off-white head. Active carbonation. Aroma has some orange, grapefruit, and pine. Taste has a semi-sweet malt backbone with sharp bitterness. Medium bodied with an oily texture. Bitter finish. Ok, but a little unbalanced.

Great as an IPA, the hops was initially assaultive then quickly dissipate. There is a bad bitter aftertaste

I love a bitter beer, but not when it seems that the beer is steeped in grapefruit. I wish this bewery would change their label. Its from the northwest but most people would thinks its Japenese.

Pours a slightly hazy color, nice floral hop aroma. Thin white head with good lacing. Excellent hop flavor, massive citrus and some pine. There is a little bitterness at the end that finishes this beer off nicely.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a light gold with a white head. Smells of strong citrus and hops with a very light floral note -- the aroma feels very light in temperament. Tastes initially very crisp and citrusy before blooming into hoppy bitterness. This is followed by a wave of malt and floral characters, which subsides into the hoppy finish. Despite the name, there is exceptional balance throughout between hops and malt. I like the domination of citrus over floral characters in the smell and early flavors -- really gives a light, crisp feel at the onset. Doesnt come close to the extreme on hops; rather, it achieves a very nice soft and smooth hop character, which still retains some punch. What it does, it does very well.

Bomber. Pours a nice orangish amber with a medium-sized head and aromas of citrus, tropical fruit and pine. Looking forward to the first sip, I wasnt disappointed. This was sharply hoppy and bitter with a lot of resin flavors in the mid to late finish. Malt balances nicely against the hops presence. Im happy to be in Oregon for a while if this is whats in store!

22oz bottle from BevMo. Pours a slightly-cloudy amber (looks almost like a hefe). 2 finger eggshell foam that diminished quickly, leaving dotted lacing. Slightly yeasty aroma, with a hint of tuna. Strong hops, but well balanced taste. Bitterness lingers on palate and back of tongue.

A balanced, good IPA. Nothing special but a good performer. Amber with medium head. Aroma and taste are both more fruity than floral, and the bitterness isnt very dominant. One of those that you enjoy but dont really remember.
