Cloudy amber, strong hop nose even nowhere near the glass. Closer, fruit in the nose, nice mango, pineapple, caramel. Delicious, packed with flavor and balanced. Light and sweet up front, boozy middle, thickens up to a hoppy, bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden with a white head - Fruity hop aroma with some citrus - Malt body to support a hop flavour that has a good bitterness with some fruity citrsu notes - The hops with bitterness goes into the finish - This was good

From a bottle poured a copper color with a fair amount of head. Light happy flavor with a quick finish.

Popped in the freezer in a frosted mug, it was really good. Rich and flavorful, just another awesome IPA. Some hit, some miss but this one nailed it ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Vons, Las Vegas. Pours hazy golden with a slowly diminishing, foamy, white head that leaves lacing. The aroma contains floral hops, citrus, malt and some spices. It tastes light malty sweet and medium hoppy bitter with a dry finish. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Smooth and balanced.

Bottle from a supermarket in Oregon. Aroma is malt, floral hops, lots of grapefruit, pine and spruce. Flavour is moderate sweet with an annoyingly harsh bitterness. Body is medium. Wow, I didn’t expect such a poorly balanced IPA from Ninkasi. Very disappointing.

65cl fles. Helder oranje kleur, fijne romige witte schuimkraag. De geur van citrus en kruiden. Smaak is zoet, citrus, karamel en meloen. Medium Lichaam, Veel koolzuur.

Draft. Dark gold in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of bready and slightly toasted pale malt, along with mild sour citrus. Flavors are of light German malts, mild pink grapefruit, and a bit of black pepper. Medium bodied. A bit to skewed towards the malts for my taste, but it still comes across as clean. Probably more balanced for a lot of folks.

Restrained citrus aroma in a hazy gold pour. Hop forward balance with restrained fruity body and sustained bitter finish is spot on for the style. You’ll not go wrong ordering one of these.
