22 oz. bottle. Pours a clear orange amber color with a small off white film. The aroma is heavy with tropical fruit hops and caramel. The flavor is more tropical fruit hops, caramel, grass, and a touch of earthy bitterness. Leans slightly toward the syrupy side. Decent beer, nothing outstanding. Worth a try. phildorsey (161) - Fort Carson, Colorado, USA - JUN 4, 2011
1 pint 6 fl. oz. Pours reddish amber and clear. Taste is very bitter but suttle on the business end (finish). Alcohol content is high but undetectable on the palate. The drink is pleasent and goes well with pizza and wings, and I suspect everything else. Very Good. wedgie9 (2702) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 19, 2011
Tasted on 5/19/11 from a 650mL bomber bottle purchased at BevMo Tempe. Pours hazy orange with a thick white head that slowly recedes to a thin collar of even lace. The nose is earthy and bitter grapefruit and orange hops along with a solid caramel, with a hint of maple, malt. The flavor is nicely balanced with earthy grapefruit and bitter resin hops along with a solid backbone of caramel malt. The body is full with lively carbonation and a long bitter grapefruit and caramel malt finish. dwyerpg (6230) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAY 19, 2011
This has a sweet aroma, smells like Dogfish 90. This is a nice beer, a strong flavor, a bit of alcohol. A bit sweeter than what I’m feeling right now, hurting my teeth a tad. Beardface (1517) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - MAY 2, 2011
Pretty much exactly the same as regular Tricerahops, except with just that slight bit more of awesome hop bite. I’d say this is a disappointment, but when the original was already so tasty, why mess with success?

Dirty golden in color with a small off white head. Extremely well balanced in both aroma and flavor between citrus hops and more grassy and piney ones. Not really sure if I like this or Total Domination more, but I know that I am extremely happy to have this brewery in my adopted hometown.
Clear orange in color with a minimal white head. Good lacing. Strong floral nose. Orange zest comes out in the aroma. Medium bitter notes with medium sweet notes that follow. Has a thin texture with lively carbonation. The beer finishes long and bitter. Overall it was a good beer. I love hoppy beer. hoppopotamus (260) - Santa Cruz, California, USA - APR 16, 2011
A tan beer with an off-white head, lots of yeast chunks in the pour. Aroma is faint hops, a bit fruity. The flavor is malty, some hop flavor and a decent amount of biterness. Some sour too. Finishes not too bitter, also sour. Pretty disappointing, really. Much better DIPAs for the price, especially from Oregon. smith4498 (3649) - Winter Springs, Florida, USA - APR 16, 2011
Bottle from a trade with cbkscubert. Pours slightly hazy burnt orange color with off white head. Aromas of citrus fruits and grapefruit rind. Sweet caramel malts balance out the bitter grapefruit and citrus flavors. A bit on the sweet malty side for a DIPA but a nice beer. Medium to full body with average carbonation. Thanks Craig. Reviewed from notes.
Pours a moderate orange color with a white head. The nose brings some floral and citrus hops with a bit of rind. The taste is bitter, but doesn’t have the bright hop characteristics of the nose. Some light grain and booze in the background. Good bitter and alcohol balance. Pretty good, but doesn’t really take it to the next level.

Bomber. Pours a golden body with a white head. Decent floral hoppiness, notes of citrus, and grapefruit. A mild malty body feels like to much malt for this DIPA, sure it has balance but i want big hops. A mild pine note and a medium warming. Wish it was hopped up a bit more.
