3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours one of the most cloudy beers I’ve seen this side of a Hefe.... Rather dark amber with some golden edges in the light.
Aroma was slight pine hops, some malt in there,
[couldn’t find a date stamp, this may have been a little old]
Pretty nice big double IPA bite up front, malt backing. Pretty good balance, not bad,
Especially when you factor in the price. Probably the cheapest DIPA out there right now...
I’d get this again, not the best DIPA, but not bad at all, and at under 4 bucks, quite a deal.
Bottle from Safeway. Clear amber. Nose is sweet caramel, pine, orange. Tastes bittersweet, boozy, caramel, citrus, pine, sweet malty. s_r (150) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 26, 2017
Robe orangée, nez résineux et fruit de la passion. En bouche, l’amertume est bien présente, mais douce. Complémentée par des arôme de pin et d’ananas. Excellente buvabilité. muellerbr (15) - - JUL 18, 2017
Good with spicy stuff. Not too heavy. Crisper than it looks. Was not a favorite originally but came around to it after double ipa's started getting HEAVY.

1 pint bottle. Pours a blood orange with a thin white head. Aroma: Citrus, passionfruit, grapefruit, papaya, pines notes. Mild biscuity malt. Taste: Citrus, biscuity malt, papaya, grapefruit, pine, peach flavours. Mild carbonation. Thin body. Moderate bitterness. Boozy. The bottle that I had wasn’t the freshest, and wasn’t particularly great, but I could imagine when fresh this would be a great beer. Belgiandean (10) - - JUL 4, 2017
My favorite IPA in the world when on tap. Deep rich taste; perfect mix of hops and body.

Rich copper coloured body with a two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of earthier hops with some nutty malt character and a noticeable yeast aroma as well. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and hop flavour with a dose of alcohol, some more subdued malt characteristics along with a great mellow-ish character showing some yeast, a hint of toffee and caramelised sugars and a grassy and earthy finish. Aftertaste is noticeable hoppy and bitter, but not as much as I expected, and perhaps showing more sweetness than I figured, but very low-key and balanced. Overall, a nice IPA that isn’t really ’Imperial’ by any means, but a decent beer nonetheless and worth trying if it isn’t horribly expensive. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 13-May-2017 for US$6,99 sampled at home on the Eastern Shore in Pungoteague, Virginia on my birthday, 30-June-2017. mezr (158) - California, USA - JUN 30, 2017
Poured into a tulip a clear golden color with a minimal white head. No lacing on the glass at all. Aroma is citrus and malts. Initially rather sweet, then lightly bitter. Medium body, a bit creamy and with soft carbonation. Nothing special. maupie (1103) - Roosendaal, NETHERLANDS - JUN 28, 2017

Pours a nice orange/amber with a decent off white head. Aroma is Spicy hops and grass. Taste is sweet caramel malt, buttered popcorn, pine cones, freshly mown grass and a pretty assertive bitterness. ABV warmth is evident after the swallow. Well balanced, but the hops dominate. rosenbergh (11936) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 21, 2017
22 oz bottle. Thanks Timo A!
Clear orange color with a small white head.
Sweet tropical fruity hoppy aroma with a hefty amount of caramel malty sweetness.
The flavor is sweet caramel malt and sweet hoppy bitterness. Really sweet.
