Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Smells of peppers, hints of hops and malt sweetness. Taste is pepper, spiciness, and subtle hints of maltiness. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, No Label Don Jalapeño Ale finishes with a supple lingering burn. Karol (973) - SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JUL 26, 2013
Bottled. One word: amazing! Spicy, hot jalapeno! Aroma is jalapeno, taste is hot and spicy. Phenomenal! legion242 (2348) - Richardson, Texas, USA - APR 30, 2012
Probably the single best "pepper" beer that I have ever had. Just the right amount of heat. dfinney23 (3424) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 23, 2012
Oh hell yeah! Tastes like fresh jalapenos but without the heat. Okay, there’s a bit but a tad more would make this perfect. Plenty of caramel malt and floral hop showing this isn’t just peppers dumped in a crappy beer. EllisGl (5) - No, Texas, USA - MAY 3, 2014 does not count
A: Honey gold, slightly cloudy. Thin head,
S: Freshly opened Jalapeno with some spice. A hint of the malts and some floral notes later on.
T: Jalapeno, malt then then the heat along with the lingering jalapeno, then just heat that just stays.
O: It’s not a bad beer. I can handle hot stuff, but I could see how someone might not like this due to the heat factor.
