Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Smells of peppers, hints of hops and malt sweetness. Taste is pepper, spiciness, and subtle hints of maltiness. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, No Label Don Jalapeño Ale finishes with a supple lingering burn. Karol (918) - SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JUL 26, 2013
Bottled. One word: amazing! Spicy, hot jalapeno! Aroma is jalapeno, taste is hot and spicy. Phenomenal! legion242 (2348) - Richardson, Texas, USA - APR 30, 2012
Probably the single best "pepper" beer that I have ever had. Just the right amount of heat. dfinney23 (3271) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 23, 2012
Oh hell yeah! Tastes like fresh jalapenos but without the heat. Okay, there’s a bit but a tad more would make this perfect. Plenty of caramel malt and floral hop showing this isn’t just peppers dumped in a crappy beer. EllisGl (5) - No, Texas, USA - MAY 3, 2014 does not count
A: Honey gold, slightly cloudy. Thin head,
S: Freshly opened Jalapeno with some spice. A hint of the malts and some floral notes later on.
T: Jalapeno, malt then then the heat along with the lingering jalapeno, then just heat that just stays.
O: It’s not a bad beer. I can handle hot stuff, but I could see how someone might not like this due to the heat factor.

Tap @ Beerfoot, Galveston .. . deep gold .. . great head, lacing is nuts .. . pepper, grain, hay, and green peppers .. . mild tingle in the throat .. . perfect spice level .. . a solid beer, would go well with fajitas or hotdogs .. . . Hey Moe, you got any beer? thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 10, 2012
(Draught at Big Texas Beer Fest 2012) clear medium gold, minimal white head. Nose of jalapenos (ala jalapeno jam), honey, and not much else. Taste reflects sweet jalapeno relish, a bit of earthiness perhaps from the yeast or peppers, medium carbonation. Really a great pepper beer! kevinator (2209) - The Colony, Texas, USA - MAR 23, 2013
I give this high marks because I think they pulled it off. I was expecting a gimmick beer but it works. The aroma is fresh jalapeño with a little malt. Golden color with two-finger white head. Lighter weight like a pilsner with average carbonation. The dominant flavor is jalapeño, maybe some smokiness and a little hops. There is a bit of heat at the back end but nothing like Ghost Face Killah. Good job. jhamp9 (1862) - Corinth, Texas, USA - MAR 28, 2013
Dark orange pour with a nice white head. Good deal of lacing. Aroma is jalapeno and earthy. Taste is jalapeno, earthy, subtle caramel. Slight heat. Medium body. This is really good. The jalapeno is prevalent and it has some heat but is very drinkable. Gription79 (2891) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - JUL 20, 2013
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle, thanks to Doug. The aroma is spicy jalapeno. The flavor is caramel, sweet bready malts, spicy jalapeno. A tame pepper beer.
