Coffee, malt, toast. Pours dark like strong coffee. Minimal quickly fading dark tan head. Creamy. Medium bodied. Smooth. Vanilla, coffee, toast, cream. Really nice. tapthis (272) - Baytown, Texas, USA - DEC 1, 2016
Has a strong coffee and lactic taste. Smells of strong roasted malt. Pours a dark brown with a tan head. Decent lacing. Andrew196 (1854) - Katy, Texas, USA - APR 23, 2016
Strong nose of coffee, oak and cocoa. Dark brown, wimpy head. A bit too boozy on the tongue for my liking and I needed a little less chocolate. Went downhill after the aroma... Not terrible but it needs help. Gasfactory (4) - Texas, USA - DEC 23, 2015 does not count
Pours very dark with no head. Complex flavours including coffee, rasin, pepper. Flavor improves as it warms up from refrigerated bottle. Dogbrick (12912) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 8, 2015
Sample at GABF 09/26/2015, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Pours black with a medium creamy beige head that recedes quickly. Spotty lacing. Malt, chocolate and coffee in the nose. Medium body with flavors of roast malt, milk chocolate and mild coffee. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Black, light brown lacinf, lasting foam head. Stron coffee aroma, nice bitter coffee taste, not too strong though, just nice. Short bitter cold coffee aftertaste. (Velp 201502) onceblind (9404) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 29, 2014
Black pour with a wee thin beige cap. Sweet creamy milk chocolate nose with a wee frappeccino note. Nice sweet yet roasty milk chocolate flavor, and general clean and sweet loveliness. Basic but creamy chocolatey well done. DrunkSanta410 (921) - Houston, Texas, USA - AUG 8, 2014
Bottle. Pours a dark brown, almost black with quick dissipating brown head. Aromas of milk chocolate, milk sugar, a bit of coffee. Smells like a desert. Taste is more coffee than the aroma, a bit of chocolate and a bit of sweetness. Mildly bitter finish. Palate is thick body, smooth. Good local beer. ansermadide (1526) - Kyle, Texas, USA - JUL 20, 2014
This easy-bodied milk stout is dark brown in color, but somewhat thin in appearance. It has a nose of intense caramel, some burnt caramel, and some hops. Itís very light in body, with roasted malts mid-palate, a semi-bitter roasted finish, and just a little sweetness to glue it all together. Overall, itís not a very sweet milk stout. Itís light and mellow, but a little unbalanced. Why, specifically, a milk stout is named after a Panamanian boat, I have no clue.
