5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - SEP 7, 2013
Bottle:   Deep brown, thin to moderate frothy tannish head, spotty lacing.   Old dark pitted fruit, a little stale and prune like.   Minor lactose or chocolate.   Very pale roasted malts, sweet, a little acrid, light lactose presense, with a slightly chalky backside.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Not the old fruity nose, but a softer Milk Stout that seems a little tired.   Has a touch of pruniness that lingers.   Tiz okay, but not as sweet and velvety as others.   Thanks Bill!

Bottle from Rosebud Butternuts. Pours dark brown black with a dark tan head. Aroma is chocolate and roasted dark malt. Nearly burnt. Full bodied. Flavor is very dark chocolate and dark malt. I’m not getting coffee, I think. Pretty dry. Very, very tasty. Sort of like baking chocolate in the finish. Nice.

Ratman197 (15372) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUL 31, 2013
Bottle courtesy of Doodler (thanks Scott) poured a clear dark reddish brown with a lasting creamy tan head. Aromas of roastiness, milk chocolate, carmel and light vanilla. Palate was mediuim to full bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, cocoa and light carmel with a smooth lingering cocoa finish.

SPDickerman (1315) - Texas, USA - JUN 30, 2013
Pours black with a large light tan head. Smells roasty and of chocolate. Taste is a little sweet, roasted, and not very bitter. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and mild mouth-carbonation, No Label Elda M. Milk Stout finishes with a slight semisweet tingle.

jkwood04 (5463) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 12, 2013
12oz bottle in an English pint. Pours very dark brown with a lacy, tan head. Aroma of roasted and chocolate malts, light lactose, hints of metal, and light hops. Flavor the same, with the metallic notes sort of ruining this. Average texture. Not great.

decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - JUN 5, 2013
Brown black pour with tan head and lace. Aroma is light chocolate and light coffee. Sweet chocolate dominates, coffee, and a light malt bitter. A tad thin and watery but ok

Almost black in the glass, with a small light brown head. Distinctive milk stout flavor that sits well on the palate. A very enjoyable beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a rich opaque black with a tall, sticky, lacey brown head. Nose is brown sugar, cafe au lait, and vanilla. Prodigious smoke and dark fruit on the front of the tongue, followed by espresso and vanilla. Bourbon on the finish. I like this very much.

brokensail (16648) - Dublin, California, USA - APR 21, 2013
Dark brown pour with a tan head. Nose of roasted malt, cocoa, and some lactose. Metallic, a bit of dark fruit, and some coffee. The flavor is kind of acidic, metallic, and mildly bitter. Roasted malt, coffee, and cocoa powder. Mild lactose sweetness and dark fruits.
