Sample at GABF 09/26/2015, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Pours black with a medium creamy beige head that recedes quickly. Spotty lacing. Malt, chocolate and coffee in the nose. Medium body with flavors of roast malt, milk chocolate and mild coffee. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. On tap at Onion Creek. Pours a near black with a light brown head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has a good amount of lactose with milk chocolate and a bit of backing roast.
