Bottle. Pours a rich opaque black with a tall, sticky, lacey brown head. Nose is brown sugar, cafe au lait, and vanilla. Prodigious smoke and dark fruit on the front of the tongue, followed by espresso and vanilla. Bourbon on the finish. I like this very much. Beerenberger (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - FEB 20, 2013
Aroma of milk chocolate and roasted malts. A dark brown pour with a mostly diminishing tan head and no lacing. The taste is roasted malts along with smooth sweet milk chocolate (lactose). There’s a fizzy hoppy finish. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, a very nice sweet stout. Would drink again. Fritz123 (1535) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - APR 9, 2013
Snifter draft at Sybarite Pig bottle share. Dark thick pour with mild head and lace. Great aroma of chocolate, caramel, vanilla and malts. Taste is the same. Very smooth mouth with notes if dark fruits on the finish. Very good. ansermadide (1526) - Kyle, Texas, USA - JUL 20, 2014
This easy-bodied milk stout is dark brown in color, but somewhat thin in appearance. It has a nose of intense caramel, some burnt caramel, and some hops. It’s very light in body, with roasted malts mid-palate, a semi-bitter roasted finish, and just a little sweetness to glue it all together. Overall, it’s not a very sweet milk stout. It’s light and mellow, but a little unbalanced. Why, specifically, a milk stout is named after a Panamanian boat, I have no clue. dyetube (1378) - Hurst, Texas, USA - MAY 11, 2012
On tap at The Bottle Shop. Pours black with a medium tan head. The aromas are chocolate, roasted coffee. The mouthfeel us dry, roasty and slightly watery with a big body and medium carbonation. Cheers!

Bottle from a coworker. Pours like a normal stout but with excess carb. Coworker nailed it: "Tastes like a boring soda." Overcarbed, and doesn't have any flavor. Great otherwise! crajun (1259) - , Texas, USA - JAN 27, 2014
continuing my review of this style. not liking it. good aroma with faint chocolate, roast and ever so slight chocolate roast. taste is the norm for this stye and the lactose is almost astringent and just doesn’t work for me SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - JUN 30, 2013
Pours black with a large light tan head. Smells roasty and of chocolate. Taste is a little sweet, roasted, and not very bitter. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and mild mouth-carbonation, No Label Elda M. Milk Stout finishes with a slight semisweet tingle. DrunkSanta410 (969) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - AUG 8, 2014
Bottle. Pours a dark brown, almost black with quick dissipating brown head. Aromas of milk chocolate, milk sugar, a bit of coffee. Smells like a desert. Taste is more coffee than the aroma, a bit of chocolate and a bit of sweetness. Mildly bitter finish. Palate is thick body, smooth. Good local beer. 12 oz bottle. Poured a dark brown/black shade with a thin khaki head and minimal lacing. Taste of roasted dark malts, chocolate and lactose. Medium carbonation, medium-thick body. Only negative is it could be a little higher ABV. Cheers.
