FROTHINGSLOSH (7929) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 24, 2017
Rachel brought this one back from a trip to Texas. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark caramel color with a large foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet fruity hops with tropical and piney notes. The flavor was sweet, tart and tangy with notes of orange, pineapple, tobacco and toasted caramel. Medium length finish. Medium body. Well done and quite quaffable.

Reddish copper pour with a lasting, frothy white head, lace. Sweet, grainy aroma, notes of toffee and citrus. The hops came out respectably on the tongue with some grapefruit before a full finish. Good beer, nothing to take it to the next level though.

UPDATED: OCT 27, 2015 bottle, small stable dense long lasting creamy head, quite deep hazy orange color, lots of carbonation, herbal citrusy aroma with some light maltiness, very strong and a bit overpowering, shrubby bitternesswith just a hint of malt,. Nice but a bit heavy and unbalanced.

Bottle 355ml @ nudiebear
Pours slightly hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, grain and citrus. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long grassy and citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Poured a honey amber with no head, but still a lively beer.Pine cone, orange and something close to butterscotch in the nose. Sweet but fairly balanced taste. Ok but not exciting

degbert (1776) - Austin, Texas, USA - JAN 17, 2015
Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a high, lacy, mixed-grain white head. Nose is lavender and lime, almost exclusively so. Nice bitterness on the tongue, followed by a lime citrus acidity; there’s honey sweetness behind it, and a slight resiny or soapy note. Strikes a nice note between hops aggressiveness and mildness. Finish is medium and maintains the hops floral notes. Nice.

Dogbrick (13389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 6, 2014
Sample at Mongoose vs Cobra. Pours amber with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lacing. Floral hops and malt in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of grassy hops, fruit and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short floral hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
