Draft in a shaker at The Rack in Tyler. Malty sweet aroma. Light red amber with minimal white head. Very light. Slightly sweet very mildly hoppy. Not bad. Nothing really of note. ozarkspops (368) - - MAR 17, 2013
Hazy amber pour. Thick off white head. Lots of lacing. Nutty malty aroma. Mild amount if hops. Medium mouthfeel. Balanced malty flavor. Caramel and nuttiness. Hops aren't very noticeable.

Similar to Guinness.. Less of a coffee taste. Slightly reddish color, kind of cloudy. Good beer.. I would drink it again. Didn't love it, but I did like it.

Poured up a clear amber with little head that seemed to fade away quickly leaving just a lace. Smells of toasted malts and tastes of toasted malts. very slight hint at the chocolates, so slight it can easily be missed. The hops are bitter and a bit dry. Overall this is a very decent brew that I will probably purchase again. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JAN 21, 2013
Bottle:   Deep amber, a bit dirty, moderate frothy off-white head, spotty lacing.   Heavy bready nose, a bit husky and mealy.   Semi-sweet on the tongue, malty, but also mealy.   Low hop, not much zing.   Smooth overall, with a moderate body and mouthfeel.   A little fruity on the backside, minor citrus zest or candied peel.   Decent, but a little too mealy.   Could have used a bit more hop bitterness to balance it out, but otherwise its okay.

met up with a good friend at a pizza place and was pleasently surprised to see this on tap, we both had a pint. deep amber ale travita (5003) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JAN 16, 2013
Cloudy, golden to amber in color, and has a foamy off white head. A little roasty, a little malts, a little hops, just a little of everything so it does not amount to much . jhamp9 (1860) - Corinth, Texas, USA - JAN 1, 2013
Clear copper with a white head. Aroma is nutty, caramel, and a little tart. Taste is toast, caramel, and some hop bitterness. Easy to drink. mmmbeer (1419) - Austin, Texas, USA - DEC 7, 2012
12 oz. bottle served in a shaker- poured a transparent slightly darkened amber color, white ring around the glass for a head after a few minutes, aroma of hard water and biscuits, ugh. Hits the mouth with a medium body, malt is just slightly sweetened, some hops in the middle, finish is complete. Just a beer, nothing less and nothing more.
