Tap at Beaches Cafe in Port A.
Dark amber, cloudy white head. Aroma is malt and caramel and dark fruit.
Very light bitter and sweetness.
Rachel brought this one back from a trip to San Antonio. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a slightly hazy bright orange-brown color with a large foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was cola, cherry, raisin and molasses. The flavor was a bit tart and bitter with cola, molasses and raisins. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok. At the source - everything about this beer is subdued, nothing really bad though. Subdued nuttiness, earth and caramel on the nose. Subdued carbonation. Subdued flavor caramel, traces of spice. Like most of their beers, it isn’t terrible but it has too much of a homebrew feel to it. GreatDane1632 (1169) - North Dakota, USA - AUG 3, 2015
Rated based on notes taken 3 Sep 2012 -- Notes are limited, pretty sure I drank this in either San An or Austin. I think I liked it I marked it pretty good. May have been due to alcohol content. kaaduce (14) - Texas, USA - JUN 20, 2015

355ml bottle. Amber pour. A painfully mundane amber. Some light roast mostly caramel and toast. degbert (1776) - Austin, Texas, USA - DEC 20, 2014
Bottle. Pours dark amber with a high, smooth, off-white, lacy head. Nose is stone fruit, toast, floral notes, and biscuity elements. Dry on the tongue, with a toasted-corn overtone; some fruity notes, and medium carbonation, make it relatively smooth and easy-drinking. Not a lot of hops to it. Some toffee notes. Finish is very clean. Decent. edgallow (4362) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 6, 2014
12 oz bottle pours amber with a off white head. Aroma of malts, pine and toffee. Taste is malts and some resin. Itzjerm (3074) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - AUG 22, 2014
At five percent good mouthfeel and good profile. Very strong chocolate malt flavor for a pale ale. Makes it pretty unique. At first bitter but balances out. Good carb but quick fading head. Malt for sure. Light malt aroma.

Sweet caramel on the nose with deep roasted caramel coloring and a light toffee, quickly dissipating head, this pleasant sweetness is round with deep roasted notes and just a hint of chocolate. Smooth but effervescent mouthfeel would make this an especially lovely beer for a cool but not et cold fall afternoon anywhere that perpetual summer is not in bloom.
