COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This big, bold copper-colored ale showcases Munich & Crystal malts to create a big supportive body on which we layer our favorite Washington hops. Chinook & Cascade provide citrus and piney flavors, while Northern Brewer adds a hint of mint. Dry-hopping with Cascade and Columbus increases the beer’s hoppy aromas. Malt, hops and yeast-derived fruitiness combine to create our most complex offering.

Very solid NW ipa. I’ve had 2 beers from this brewery and thought both were outstanding for the region. Typicall I expect the NW pales and IPS to be a little towards the maltier side, but these are much more hop forward. This is a crisp and easy chugger. Digging it.

pinkzambia (1933) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAY 3, 2015
Bottle - Compliments of Indiana_Red’s wife - Semi clear gold with a white head. Hoppy aroma with a off beat citrusy flavor and solid hop bitterness on the trailer. Pretty good.

Slightly hazy deep orange golden soapy persistent off-white head. Mild hoppy aromas and flavors. A mx of citrus and floral piney nites. Good all-around IPA. Not very big in any category but decent in all

Capa (3321) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - APR 19, 2015
Bold Amber orange with a off-white head. Citrus fruit and pine in the aroma with a background malt sweetness. Comes across rather bitter to begin with. The malt really seems to reign in the hop profile. Has a slightly rusty feeling to it. Finish is a long on the bitterness and short on flavor. Decent and different.

Bottle. Copper with a light tan head. Malt forward with a piney hop presence that builds with every sip. Caramel, biscuits, bread crust, citrus and floral notes pop up. Very good overall.

Poured from a 22. Aroma is hoppy and floral. Flavor is smooth, slightly biscuit and citrus. Nothing too overpowering here. Finish has a bit of a bite to it. Overall easy drinking beer!

Darker than expected, copper coloured with golden head. Aroma is resin, pine, grapefruit and caramel sweetness. Taste is good, earthy bitterness, caramel maltiness, bit of citrus and grass at the end and maybe slightly nutty. Bitter finish leaves a pleasant tingle on the tongue. Very nice!

Bookseeb (137) - Wenatchee, Washington, USA - MAR 22, 2015
Appearance is a hazy orange amber supporting a healthy steady head leaving collared lace. Smell is sweet with citrus with a piney aroma. Taste is hop forward of the malt having that piney grapefruit with the sweetness of the malt. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Makes for a nice IPA offering.

Pours hazy amber with some of white head. A powerful pine aroma with hints of white fruit. Very dry with a powerful bitter finish.
