Bottle from Legacy Liquor, Vancouver
Hazy blond color with medium head. Intense aroma, yellow fruits, apricots; mellow; later, a bit of pungent animal aroma appear. The mouthfeel is quite dry and lean, although also minimally oily; good malt flavor, a bit toasty, and with some fudge/toffee; very strong bitterness; the hopping is resiny and fruity, although in the very end there is a bit of chicory bitterness; I may sense infinitesimal diacetyl, not enough to disturb though.
Very good.

mcberko (17823) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 3, 2013
UPDATED: JAN 5, 2013 22 oz. bottle, pours a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma of oranges, citrus hops, some citrus zest and just enough malt backing. Flavour of dry citrus zest, citrus hops, some dry orange-like fruits and crisp malt. Fairly standard IIPA, with not so flavouful a hop profile. Finishes quite dry and crisp. Uninteresting, but drinkable, IIPA.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy copper with a foamy/creamy near-white head. Aroma is very hoppy, but it’s not harsh resin or citrus. Sort of mixed floral/citrus over a light, pleasant caramel backdrop. Near full bodied. Flavor is very hoppy - there’s hop burn. Still it seems floral and citrus. Amazing amount of hop here. Not even noticing the malt til I think about it. Suddenly I get light pitted fruit - apricot. Amazing. (that’s twice for that word). This finishes smoothly and hugely bitter. Extremely pleasant to drink.

Ratman197 (14830) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - SEP 25, 2012
Bomber poured a clear reddish amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of skunk bud, earthiness, mustiness, pine and citrus. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, skunk bud, mustiness and pine with a crisp dry bitter lingering pine finish. Not sure what Beaver was drinking but it does’nt sound like what I had.

Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate complex bitter flavor with a moderate complex bitter finish of medium to long duration. This is a solid beer.

Bottle. Pours lightly hazy copper with a medium, finger-tall, frothy off-white head, long retention with excellent, sticky lacing. Aroma is pineapple, apricot, and floral hops with apple and pear esters, cracker and biscuit malt. Flavor is moderate hops and medium bitterness, light malt and fruity esters with clean fermentation characteristics and a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, spicy carbonation.

shrubber85 (11397) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUL 5, 2014
Bottle. Sweet orange malt and strong alcohol/acetone aroma. Hazy amber with small head. Sweet orange/peach malt and light bitter herbal orange peel flavor. Thankfully doesn’t taste nearly as harsh as the aroma.
