Bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with a moderate head. Nose is quite floral up-front. Taste is definitely hoppy and bitter with the floral elements coming through in the taste, too. Very easy drink. Cweade (33) - - JAN 4, 2015

Bottle. Pretty pour, hazy and off-orange, sticky head. Nice citric aroma. Drinks with a sticky acidity, cloying even. There’s a big woody undertow here, too. A classical example of a NWUSA IPA! (#5347, 12/5/2013) cblado (298) - Washington, USA - JUN 28, 2014
12 oz bottle. Pours a nice goldenrod color, some head, not much lacing. Aroma is mainly strong citrus hops, with some floral notes as well. Flavor is deliciously bitter hops up front with a good malt backbone. The palate is perfect for an imperial IPA, with a bit more thickness than a standard IPA. Overall this is a great beer, and I look forward to having a couple more! zizzybalubba (1878) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JAN 13, 2014
12 oz. bottle from SoHo Organic Market, Elizabeth City, NC. Dark orange pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma of grapefruit rind, freshly cut pine needles, and tangerine. Very nice bitter hop flavor of fresh pine, grapefruit, and grass. Not very balanced (in fact surprisingly bitter) and certainly on the piney side of the hop spectrum rather than the citrusy end. Nice beer and a pleasant surprise.

Bomber poured a clear reddish amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of skunk bud, earthiness, mustiness, pine and citrus. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, skunk bud, mustiness and pine with a crisp dry bitter lingering pine finish. Not sure what Beaver was drinking but it does’nt sound like what I had. Bottle courtesy of pjdipes. 22oz bomber pours with a clear copper body supporting a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up sweet malts with a dash of biscuit malts mixing with resiny pine hops and some citrus hard candy notes. The taste delivers rich deep chewy notes that are grapefruit and tangerine as well as resiny pine hop goodness with a decent enough base of sweet malts. The malts fade some into the finish leaving pleasing rich hoppiness lingering behind. Enjoyable IIPA. Chipper (303) - Red Lion, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 28, 2013
Hazy amber pour with a moderate thick tan head. Considerable lacing. Aroma is sweet, citrus fruit, a little pine and hops. The flavor is solid for a dipa. Thick and chewy, so you know you have a big apv. Very good brew. BEENJAMIN (290) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 19, 2013
Pours an attractive hazey yellow with a white head. The combo of the malt and hops smells like roses to me. The peppery and citrus notes are delightful. It’s light body, dank and pungent, finishes an intense dry bitter. ABV is well hidden, this is delicious. hayduke (5601) - Eureka, California, USA - OCT 8, 2013
This as a joint-tasting with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Pours a very clear at beginning copper gold and hazy at the end after the last pour. Off-whie head and good lacing. Nose is full of hops, but there is fruit as well. Full in body with a smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is full of various tasts, including flowers early along with mango, but as time goes on we get pineapple, apricot, and pine. Sulfur and some alcohol at the end. The finish is very bitter. This is very easy to drink and goes down oh so easily for a DIPA. Great beer.
