Pint at brewery. This was a perfectly refreshing spring ale. I compared it to Sierra Nevada ESB. They are very similar. This beer was on the lighter side. Amarillo hops, nice gold color and nice overall balance. I preferred it to the to the amber and the pale.

Pours clear golden color with small head. Aroma of mild vegetables, fruits, toffee and goose berry bush. Flavour of goose berries, fruits, mild caramel, toffee and some peach. Quite weird mesh of slavors but not bad though.

nice golden with a small white head. malty aroma.malty flavor with some fruits and bitterness
Draft at NCBC. Pours a hazy medium-dark amber with a loose and sudsy grayish head. Mild fresh piney nose, smells really pleasant dimensional--nicely done. Creamy medium body with wooly carb. Toast, caramel, and pine on the mid palate. Not a groundbreaking APA, but clean and well done and very pleasantly drinkable. ACHops (1582) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 6, 2012
On tap @ the brewpub. Pours light copper with medium head. Aroma is citrusy hops with a definite orange note. Taste is sharply bitter hops, followed by light malt body. Lots of promising hop notes in the nose never materialized for me. Really crisp on the finish. cstuartj (1020) - Washington, USA - MAR 19, 2011
Clear amber orange in color. Nice tight head and lacing. Nose is light hops with strong citrus component. Clean hop and bitter attack with a dry citrus finish.

Sample at brewery. Clear orange, frothy white head. Aroma floral, citrus, caramel. Taste has more bitter pine but still lots of sweet tropical citrus and caramel. Medium body, smooth carbonation. Probably my favorite of the taster. gracefullypunk (667) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 4, 2010
Pours yellow gold with thin head. Sugar aroma with a slightly peppery hop. Spicy, peppery hop in the taste, but not much else. Nena (963) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 28, 2010
Cask, Caskfest. Clear gold pour with a large fluffy white head. Has an elegant floral and citrus Amarillo hop aroma. Has a light toasty malt body with lots of citrus, floral, and herbal hop notes. Ends with pine hop bitterness. Has a moderately light body, gentle carbonation, maybe a touch thin. A pretty nice pale that makes good use of one of my favorite hops. skoisirius (1909) - Earth, Washington, USA - JUL 5, 2009
Fairly see through golden pour, light white head. Bready light malts, light hops, light grass, light finish of both. Decent, great in hot weather, nothing special. carruthm (1401) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 14, 2009
