Bomber, 2016 vintage, thanks Craig! Roasted malt aroma with notes of molasses, chocolate and some licorice. Pours inky black with a thin light brown head that has some retention and lacing. Starts with rich roasted malt flavors with light notes of chocolate as well as a full body and viscous mouthfeel. Finishes smooth and a bit dry with molasses and licorice flavors that linger on the palate with some roasted malt. Nice imperial stout. JaBier (8178) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - FEB 26, 2017
Bottle shared by a friend. Pours darkest brown with a medium tan head. Aroma of malt, molasses, raisin, chocolate and roast. Malt and chocolate flavor with some roastiness before a dark fruit finish. anderson01 (356) - Spirit Lake, Idaho, USA - FEB 13, 2017
Pitch black pour. Creamy, tan head that receeds into a bubbley collar. Aroma is fruity, green olives, chocolate and vanilla. Slick texture. Full bodied. There is a sweetness to it. Finish is long and bitter. Bready. Decent beer.

Bottle. Opaque Black in colour. Very Malty; roasty/burnt malts, lots of liquorice, dark chocolate, coffee, caramel/toffee. Fruity; hints of dark fruits. Slightly spicy. Hoppy; earthy hops. Sweet roast malty liquorice and chocolate throughout. Dry roast finish. Much too much liquorice. Unusual but interesting. Decent enough. (2015-04-12)

Bottle - Dark roast and chocolate. Deep jet brown with a light brown head. Dark roast, Chcolate, some minty hops and a very long roasty dark Chcolate finish. Not bad, but nothing particularly special. ClarkVV (6839) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 1, 2016

Dark mahogany with deep violet tints and a good clarity. Tan head atop is medium-sized and shows moderately strong retention.
Deep, dark, vinous notes emerge slowly. Strong baker’s chocolate, prunes, plums, currants and a hint of charred grain. Very dark fruit-heavy Impy, which is fine with me. Alcohol is controlled in the nose and it seems to be very obviously well-attenuated. Almost salty, though it’s not smokey, with black licorice, light vanilla and more dark fruits peppering the finish.
Long, drawn out dark fruits lend a bitter character to the beer, as low but fairly engaging carbonation and a silky-to-oily texture concentrate the rich acidity and dark chocolate notes. Some light caramel sweetness helps balance, but this thing is very vinous and dry. You don’t taste the alcohol but it’s there, as this thing defintiely creeps up on you. Pepper, currants, char and bitter, dark chocolate linger on the long finish. This is some serious stuff. Very nice sipper.
Dark black, no head, red edges. Sweet aroma with fudge. Flavor, high bitterness, pine-oil, juicy fruit, fudge, espresso. finish is like cake batter. Very sweet.
