Delightfully dark Strong Ale from years gone by. Rich malt and hop balance with a wonderfully warm finish. Not for the faint hearted.

All in all not a bad beer from a small brewer who’s beer takes slightly longer than others to drop bright as the landlord explained!

saxo (19583) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - OCT 21, 2017
Cask @ St Ives Boozeon the Ouse festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, rich malt, toffee and has a sweet malty and light warming finish.

Tranquillity (2568) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 21, 2007
Cask @ Real Ale Festival, Gallows Bird, Espoo. Musty, nutty, faint aroma. Something bothers me with this beer’s taste, it’s sour and a bit roasted but watery. Dark brown colour.
