3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours with a crystal clear orange hued body with a very small and fading white head that fades to a ring and leaves low lace. Thankfully the appearance is probably the weakest aspect of this beer. Aromas show a massive hop bouquet, herbal, tangerine, spicy citrus, baked apple, low malt. Very nice indeed! Flavors show a medium to medium light bitterness, but lots of hop character: floral, tangerine, zesty citrus, lightly faded melon, very light malt, low esters. Obviously very fresh hop wise, but there is a very light oxidative character already showing in the bottle. It is only very slight and out of place (possibly a bottling issue). Lower carbonation, medium bodied and dry. Surprisingly good!
On tap at the source. Pours a clear golden. Super nice beer. Really great.

[2/18/15] Draught at Noble Ale Works in Anaheim. Clear golden. Lovely fruity hops aroma. Flavor has mild sweetness, fruity hops, tropical and citric, and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied. Very nice and refreshing. TylerGreenDC (952) - - NOV 16, 2014
On draft. Lemon aroma. Flavors of lemon and cat piss, or at least what I imagine... I love Noble but...... slowrunner77 (12037) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 10, 2014
"Agreed that this seems to more closely mimic the english pales than the typical american pale. bready and caramel malt forward, with some dry, fairly bitter piney hops. ok." DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - JUL 20, 2014
Tap, gold pour, white head, nose is citrus, taste is citrus, light pale ale, okay overall.

On tap at Noble. It pours a golden color with a thick white head. The aroma has strong citrus and tropical fruit. The flavor is a good balance of light, bready malt and floral, citrusy hops. Nice standard APA. Homer321 (5070) - Melboring, Florida, USA - MAR 7, 2014
bottle thanks to womencantsail. nose is zesty with a slight dank to it, but more grapefruit/cascade than anything else. pours a slightly hazy light orange with minimal head. taste is initially bitter, but smooths out with some light cracker malt sweetness, but not too much. hop flavor is almost lemon like, almost pithy in the finish. bitterness comes back in the end to kind of dry out, almost astringent like. pretty good, but I think I would tone down the hops a touch. This feels like a 65IBU pale ale. hi Noble ale works, meet your doppelganger Dales pale ale. marcus (10222) - Sacramento, California, USA - FEB 25, 2014
Bottle shared by my friend John. Pours cloudy blonde with a modest beige head and a floral aroma. There is a full-bodied pale malt flavor with lots of bitterness and some orange blossom tang. Green tea is a nice addition. Leighton (21232) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 25, 2014
Draft at the brewpub. Pours hazy gold with a white foam head. Great stuff, lots of dry citrus fruits, nips of piney bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced on the finish, moderately sweet pale malts, further citrus. Good one. JohnnyJ (5562) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 11, 2014
On tap at the brewery. Semi hazy yellow pour, with a white head. Citrus, grain, light caramel, and a bit soapy. Pretty bland and boring.
