COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the west coast IPA style, this IPA is highly hopped with a full body. Essence of citrus grapefruit with a floral/piney nose.

Note: last brewed in 2012. If you are rating the IPA from Noble Ale Works, it is most likely Big Whig IPA (unless you have a bottle that looks like the photo).

Very fruity and citrusy aroma but not a lot of head. A nice hop bite and a very good finish. Pretty darn tasty, just the right amount of sweetness at the end. Yum. Surprisingly enjoyed this the most of the three IPAs.

Taps brewfest...pours a slightly hazy golden orange. Aroma is citrus hops.. Verrry verry bitter lingering citrus hop flavor. Good carbonation..I really like this one.

Nice ipa. A bit of pine and citrus. A nice light crispness and very drinkable. Bottle from whole foods

On tap at Toronado San Diego, $5. Yellow-orange color, fluffy head, lacing up the sides, typical west coast IPA appearance. Aroma is bitter hops, pine, west coast style. Flavor is super bitter, some citrus, again this was a typical west coast IPA. It wasn’t anything overwhelming but I love this style of beer so this was enjoyable. Pours dark brass. Subtle, aromatically complex nose. Flavorful on the palate with pleasant bitterness. Balanced, yet powerful.

I had this on tap at Pizza Port San Clemente Nice looking pour with a good floral/piney nose and hoppy flavor. I think that this is nicely done IPA.

Orange with a yellow tinge and a puffy, persistent and finely laced off-white head. Light smell of fresh hops coming off the pour followed by a grapefruit and citrus pith flavor and bitterness that dominates. Almost a little bit of soapy taste that I’m sure is from the hops and not a defect. Medium bodied with the malt in the background where it should be. Nobel Ale Works is a new brewery here in the OC and it tastes like they’re off to a good start!

22oz bottle. Rating #7. Beautiful bright orange color with a dirty white head. Big piney aroma, great bouquet. Lots of bite, citrus and a huge hop aftertaste, quite a good IPA by the T-Man. (1395)

Tasted 6/28/11. 22oz bomber. Pours hazy with an orange amber hue. Two fingers of dense head. Aromas of citrus and green grapes. Honey and slightly vegetal. An astringent nose. Medium to full bodied with a very green, raw palate. Bitter, piney and sticky body. Flavors of fresh green hops, orange rinds and other bitter fruits. Very bitter and very nicely done!
