Brewed in the west coast IPA style, this IPA is highly hopped with a full body. Essence of citrus grapefruit with a floral/piney nose.

Note: last brewed in 2012. If you are rating the IPA from Noble Ale Works, it is most likely Big Whig IPA (unless you have a bottle that looks like the photo).

Super hazey golden-orange color with no head. A very light, refreshing IPA with a light pine-orange peel hopiness light malty sweetness and clean finish. Light citrus hop aroma.

Orange pour, white head. Caramel malts dominate more than if prefer. Some citrus and grassy hops are there, just not quite enough.

UPDATED: MAR 28, 2013 Drank in tulip glass poured from 22oz bottle. Aroma- very orangey notes with strawberry scents. Appearance- dark orange. Almost looks like grapefruit juice. No head or carbonation. Taste- very nice. Bitter but drinkable. Not much on hops but more acidic. Very clean though. Palate- same as taste. Little more hop mouthfeel now. Overall- very smooth and refreshing beer. Not like most IPAs i have had as this is more acidic. Doesnt blow my mind though

Fresh bottle and a good nose, bitterness definitely there. But no distinct hop flavour.Either my nose cold or their hopping.Bottle from OCBeerSociety. Not overall drinkable.

Aroma of citrus and mango. Beer pours a hazy golden color with reddish orange tints. Head is thin and doesn’t leave much lacing. Strong piney bitterness is followed by orange and grapefruit flavors. Finish is dry with some residual citrus.

On tap at Toronado San Diego, $5. Yellow-orange color, fluffy head, lacing up the sides, typical west coast IPA appearance. Aroma is bitter hops, pine, west coast style. Flavor is super bitter, some citrus, again this was a typical west coast IPA. It wasn’t anything overwhelming but I love this style of beer so this was enjoyable. nice orange color. Decent fruity hop aroma. Ok flavor, bitter finish. I would like to see the flavor more reflect the aroma, as opposed to the overly bitter character it has

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma has notes of lemons, straw, and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, ornages, dusty hops, and caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Bottle at Ølbaren, thanks Alex. Hazy amber coloured with a medium sized off-white head. Fruity aroma of hops and grass with notes of grapefruits. Fruity flavour of hops and grapefruits with notes of grass. Dry hoppy finish.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a hazy deep golden with a white head. Fresh citrusy hop aroma with a piney touch. Medium body, a fairly dry fruitiness with a good late hop kick. A very decent Westcoast IPA. 021112
