Sampled at GABF 2015. In the glass black wait a tan head. Nose of chocolate, coffee, and spices. Full body. Flavor is chocolate and coffee. Coffee bitter finish.

8th May 2015: in a flight of six at the excellent Brewhouse, San Juan Capistrano, Orange County, Black with a tanned crown. Pour on tap at Boneyard, dark brownish black nitro pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of dark chocolate, roast, coffee notes into a bit of lactose, sweet brownie and slight spice. Cask at Bluepalms w/ vanilla, toasted almonds and coffee. Not sure if this is how mans milk is brewed or this was a special cask. P: Black with a two finger brown head. S: Oh man this smells like a fresh poured coffee, almonds and vanilla. Of all the coffee stouts (well the ones I had) this one smell the most like coffee. T: Coffee, almonds, vanilla, cream and roasted malts.This never seemed over sweeten or fake, just tasted fresh. M: Thin and silky. O: I would of like if this was thicker, but oh my what a great beer/coffee. I cant even tell the difference anymore.
